26th Annual Southeast Minitruckin Nationals was held in Maggie Valley, North Carolina from October 23-25,2020. The strip was packed with spectators watching people out cruising showing off their paint under the street lights.
When the event actually started, you could tell all attendees were ready to show off what they had! As soon as you walked in you were able to see a Geo Tracker with a crazy paint job, ultra wide wheels and a massive blower which one the award ‘Hot Wheels Pick’!
Trucks in all phases were at 26th Annual Southeast Minitruckin Nationals, from work in progress, to completed builds, former SEMA builds and builds that have been around since the 80s/90’s that are still in their original state!
With over 700 registered rides, there was something for everyone. If you liked ’em high and 4×4 you were covered. If you liked ’em low into the ground tucking wheels, you were covered. If you liked classics, you were covered. Bikes? No problem. Classics? No problem. Imports, domestic, one off, ect.. you name it it was there!
If the rides weren’t enough, 26th Annual Southeast Minitruckin Nationals had rows and rows of vendors including Drivn, Drop em, #minitruckmovement, HammerD Weekend Wear, food vendors, parts vendors, and shop vendors such as Phat Phabz.
All of that walking to check out the vendors and vehicles will have you working up a hunger, but no worries! Food wise you could get anything from funnel cakes, tacos and nachos, snow cones, brisket or pulled pork, and burgers and dogs from Johnny Woo’s Surf n Turf!
If you are wondering if this show is worth it, days after the event the hotels that are nearby are already filled for next years event. If that doesn’t convince you to make sure you are in attendance next year, we don’t know what will!
