The 8th Annual AD Nationals took place at the Johnson County Fairgrounds on September 15th and 16th. This much-anticipated event, held in conjunction with the Hoosier Swap Meet and Car Show, brought together truck enthusiasts from all over, showcasing a stunning array of 1947-1955 first series Chevy and GMC trucks.
With just over 100 trucks registered, participants hailed from 14 different states and Canada, making it a truly international gathering. The AD Nationals provided a unique opportunity for attendees to connect with fellow enthusiasts, exchange ideas, and draw inspiration for their own truck-building projects. Whether you were there to marvel at the meticulously restored vehicles or to gain insights for your next build, the event offered something for everyone.
The event’s success was bolstered by the generous support of its sponsors, including LS Fabrication, S10 Swap by Panza, Jacobs Construction, the Twisted Foundation, and BS Metal Works. Their contributions ensured a seamless and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
Looking ahead, the excitement continues as preparations are already underway for the next AD Nationals. Mark your calendars for September 20th and 21st in Franklin, Indiana, where the tradition of celebrating these iconic trucks will carry on. Whether you’re a long-time enthusiast or a newcomer to the scene, the AD Nationals promises to be an event you won’t want to miss.
