What A Masterpiece – C8 Corvette Made Out Of Wood!

May 20, 2021 By Gauge Magazine

C8 Corvette People have always been creative, there is no doubt about that. Moreover, it is fairly simple to show off your talent in the digital era. In fact, all you have to do is to record your talent, post in online and wait for it to go viral. Back in the days showing off your talent in front of the whole world was a no easy task. Fortunately for the man we are taking a look in this video, this is exactly what had happened. Namely, this man single handedly created a C8 Corvette that is completely made out of wood! Yes, you heard us well! Planks of wood!

Wood crafting has always been a thing for many people worldwide. They have created some amazing pieces of art, thus offering us a chance to be amazed. However, there is always a group of people who take things a step forward. People who love to leave the comfort zone and dive into the unknown. One such person surely is the man we are taking a look in the following video. His YouTube channel is called Woodworking Art and it is safe to say that this is well deserved. Lucky for us, he made a video so everyone can admire and enjoy the whole process!

The C8 Corvette car is something stunning! It is a dream car to many people and many people find inspiration in it. Well, this specific inspiration was enough for this man to try something different. Even though cars are made from metal, making them from wood is not impossible. Well, at least the exterior. It all started with a single block of wood. Once the man started working with his machines, the parts started clicking together like a puzzle. Probably the best thing about it is the size! It measures way bigger than a toy car!C8 Corvette

Bandsaw, carving tools, mallets, chisels, you name it! This guy has it all! Of course, not having these tools would have meant that the task of creating this car would be quite impossible. The most important part of the whole car is the actual body. After cutting out the general shape of the C8 Corvette, he started working on the details. When we say details, we really do mean some specific curves and edges, much like the actual car. In fact, this was the most challenging and probably, the most time-consuming part. It must have taken hours and hours, if not days, to finish just the front section.

After everything was ready, it was time for the parts to be put together. Working on the wheels and the rims was a no easy task as well. They were based on the original C8 Corvette wheels, so he had to make four identical pieces. Chiseling them out and working on the details is what makes the final product to look so stunning. Last but not least, is the interior. It is as detailed as it can get, including the seats, dashboard and central console! Without further a-do, watch the whole video and admire his talent!
