14th Annual Drop Em Wear Show was held in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on October 16th, 2021. With it being October, the fall weather was setting in and sadly, the end of show season was coming. No better way to end the season other than being at the annual DropEmWear show and benefit for the Toys for Tots.
This year, like last year, pulled in a variety of vehicles as well as a variety of toys and donations to the Toys for Tots. The day started out nice and sunny with vehicles rolling in starting at 8am filling out the street and all of the side parking lots. You could see everything from custom cars to classic cars, lowriders to imports, mini trucks, full sized trucks, bagged trucks, lifted trucks, motor cycles, bicycles and even custom power wheels.
It didn’t matter what your preference was towards vehicles, 14th Annual Drop Em Wear Show had something there for every single person!
You had members in attendance from a wide variety of clubs (Pebble Pushers, Relaxed, Freaks, Low Limits, Acrophobia, Banzai, Aftermath, Nokturnal, ECM, Severed Ties, LR, TK and many many others. Those who were lucky enough to win an award that day won some pretty awesome trophies resembling an original NES controller (but much shinier!)Aawards ranged from Top 50, Best Truck, Best Car, Rookie of the Year, and many more.
Days after the event had ended, there was an update on the Facebook page for 14th Annual Drop Em Wear Show. We were made aware that in donations, almost $16,000 were raised and they were still counting. They also announced there were easily $6-8 thousand dollars work of toys donated for Toys for Tots.
