What was the inspiration?

Ward always wanted a Customized older corvette with big HP, he already owns a couple stock restored early corvettes so when hefound this one it was very very rough so he thought it would be a good Custom corvette project. He had seen some of the Custom Shops work over the year and thought they would be a good shop to check out and see if they can build it. Ward stopped and and talked to John Wargo the owner of The Custom Shop in Flanagan and Had John do a rendering of what he thought they should build out of this car. Once he saw the rendering the build was on.
