On September 16-17, the Grand National Truck Show promised the best of the best, and they brought it.
From vintage classics to the latest models fresh off the assembly line, every make, model, and style from 1900 to 2023 was invited to grace the stage. Whether you’re a die-hard enthusiast, a seasoned collector, or simply someone with an appreciation for automotive artistry, there’s something for everyone at the Grand National Truck Show 2023.
It safe to say we were captivated as over 35 judged classes competed for recognition in categories ranging from Best Display to Detailing. But it was one award that everyone was hoping to get their hands on – the esteemed World’s Most Beautiful Truck award. Eighteen elite custom trucks stand poised for this inaugural honor, with the victor set to claim not only a custom trophy but also a substantial $12,500 cash prize courtesy of ARP Fasteners. It’s a reward befitting the magnitude of their craftsmanship, akin to the prestigious honors bestowed at the Grand National Roadster Show.
Behind the scenes, the visionary mind of Rod Shows owner John Buck brought this spectacle to life. Wanting to bring more recognition for custom haulers, Buck envisioned a platform solely dedicated to honoring their artistry. “Trucks, SUVs, and vans have carved their place in the hearts of collectors, builders, and customizers,” Buck remarked. “The Grand National Truck Show is our tribute to these unsung heroes of the road, and the overwhelming response speaks volumes.”
Venturing outdoors to experience the Grand National Truck-In, where participants converge to bask in the California sun. Whether you were showcasing your pride and joy or simply enjoying the atmosphere that this event has to offer, this vibrant outdoor segment was a great addition that everyone enjoyed.
