Top 100 awards and several Specialty awards\, including O’Reilly Auto Parts Choice\, Mayors Choice\, Best Of Show Longest Distance DRIVEN. 400 special dash plaques.  Pre-registration by August 24th 2019 will receive 2 tickets to see the Van-Dells in Concert at the Roberts Park Amphitheater at 5:00 pm (gate opens at 4:00) on Sunday September 1st\, registration at the gate is $15.00 NO TICKETS. Extra tickets available at Registration Saturday & Sunday for $10.00 each.  THIS IS A SHOW CAR/TRUCK SHOW…NO BIKES\, NO FAMILY vehicles . There will be a Truck Corral. THIS IS A JUDGED SHOW….RAIN OR SHINE. We have 10\,000 flyers to pass out. If you are out of our car show range you can call and I will mail you a flyer. Flyers will also be on Facebook\, @ Rodfathers Car Club.​ DJCWB will spin the oldies.

DESCRIPTION:Pre-registration is now open for the VETTES N VETS 8th annual All Corvette Car Show to be held at the American Legion in Carmel on Saturday\, August 17th. The show is sponsored by Penske Chevrolet. There will be 150 trophies and special awards. There will be two separate sets of trophies so Corvette Indy Vettes will not compete against guests. For maximum fairness guests will vote on Corvette Indy Vettes while Corvette Indy members will vote on guests’ Vettes. There will be 19 individual Vette classes with 1st\, 2nd and 3rd place trophies. Major awards will include People’s Choice for Best of Show\, Penske Chevrolet’s Choice for Best of Show\, Best Engine\, Best Interior\, Best Exterior\, Best Vet’s Vette and Most Patriotic all with 1st\, 2nd and 3rd place trophies. The American Legion will also award a Commander’s Choice Award. In addition there will be other special awards for club participation\, longest distance\, etc. There will be raffles. Commemorative dash plaques will be given to the first 200 registrants. We will have music and a DJ. Food will be prepared by and sold for the benefit of the American Legion. Show proceeds will benefit Veteran charities. Come to the show and see lots of Corvettes and meet other Corvette friends. All Corvette clubs are invited to participate but you don’t have to belong to a Corvette club to enter this show. Anyone with a Corvette is welcome. This is a “show for fun” event and no tedious show preparation before hand is needed as the Vettes are not being judged on cleanliness. You can wash it and wax it if you want to but if you are not into that then just drive it in and show like it is. Your chances of driving home with an award are still good.
