SUMMARY:Summer Place 17th Annual Car Show
DESCRIPTION:Summer Place\, “a real 50’s town” is having its 17th Annual Car Show on Saturday\, May 25\, 2019.  The proceeds benefit “A Home for Every Child Foundation.”  Trophies to be awarded are Top 20 and selected by participants.  All car show participants will be entered into a cash drawing and THREE lucky winners will win $200\, $100 and $50!!!  Dash plaques given to the first 200 car ntries! \nSpend an enjoyable afternoon while strolling down Memory Lane to a unique\, one-of-a-kind place!  Listen to the sounds of The Reminisce Band playing tunes from the 50’s & 60’s and Roy Carter playing country music with a little classic rock mixed in.  Old movies will be playing continuously in the movie theater! Burgers\, fries and old-fashioned flavored cokes will be served in Angel’s Diner all afternoon for $7 per person.  Hot dog\, chips and drink meals for $4.  Banana splits will also be available for $4.  Spectator admission is $5 per person (and tax deductible).  Children 12 and under are free. Car show pre-registration fee is $12.  Day of show registration fee is $15. Pre-registration entries must be postmarked by May 5\, 2019.  Entry fees payable to “A Home for Every Child Foundation.”  ALL car show entries receive free admission to Summer Place.  Registration is from 9 am – 12 pm.  Car awards at 3:00 pm.  Summer Place is located at 4190 North State Road 19\, Sharpsville\, Indiana (5 miles north of Tipton on State Road 19).
