“Drifter”
Building a car from scratch is a time-consuming and challenging process. It requires patience, creativity, and a lot of hard work to bring an idea to life. Marion Johnston’s 1993 Nissan 240SX is a perfect example of what can be achieved with dedication and attention to detail.
Marion’s inspiration for the build was to create a car that could perform well both on the street and the track. After five years of hard work, the car is now a shining example of how to build a Nissan 240SX.
The car is equipped with a 2.0-liter Nissan engine that provides plenty of power. It is also lowered by four inches, giving it a sleek and aggressive stance. The front end features a Silvia S13 conversion, and the body has been modified with rolled and pulled fenders, skirts, and valances.
One of the most striking features of the car is the gunmetal grey paint job, which was done by West Chester Collision Center. The paint job looks great and gives the car a modern and clean look. The Cosmis Racing XT206R wheels add an extra touch of style, while the Seibon carbon fiber hood, Nissan Silvia S13 Aero style bumpers, and DMax wing give it a race-inspired look.
The interior of the car is just as impressive as the exterior. It features Sparco Rev II and R100 seats, a Nardi Deep Corn 330mm steering wheel, and ProSport Gauges. The Pioneer AVH-X2800BS head unit, Pioneer and Alpine speakers, and dyed black carpet complete the look of the interior.
Marion’s Nissan 240SX is not just a show car. It is also a member of Drift Indy, a local drifting club. The car’s 4-point roll cage and ISC Suspension coilover shocks allow it to handle corners with ease.
Marion’s future plans for the car include upgrading the front knuckles. He has already achieved a lot with the car, and it will be exciting to see what he will do next.
In conclusion, Marion Johnston’s 1993 Nissan 240SX is a beautiful example of what can be achieved with hard work, dedication, and a clear vision. The car is not only beautiful to look at, but it is also a high-performance machine that can handle any challenge. If you’re a fan of the Nissan 240SX, you won’t want to miss this build.
