The Fourth Annual Kostly Obsessions Season Opener Car Show and Meet was held again this year at the New Castle Motorsports Park in New Castle, Indiana on July 26th, 2020.
This year’s event was in memory of Trey Cole who was a member of Kostly Obsessions. He tragically lost his life in an accident earlier in the year. This year all proceeds were donated to his family to help the kids with school clothes and supplies.
The Fourth Annual Kostly Obsessions Season Opener Car Show and Meet show lot filled up fast with custom vehicles from all walks of life with the first 50 rides received dash plaques. You could see everything from stanced Imports to Street Rods to bagged trucks were in attendance.
Besides the vehicles and ladies being hot, the temperature was as well. To cool off you could go in the café and enjoy some cold drinks and air conditioning or you could rent a go cart and have the wind blowing in your face at 60 MPH. If you’ve never sped around a car show on a go cart during a hot summer day, what have you been doing?!
As the day moved on, kids could enjoy bounce houses while adults could enjoy the beer garden. One of the events at the show was the limbo contest, to see whose ride was the lowest. At the end, no one had anything close to the red MG with a black lab as his copilot. May have been the cutest copilot we have ever seen! If you were to achieve the title of Lowest Car and Truck, you received a custom made trophy.
As the day wrapped up, awards was given out. There was a top 20 plaque and several specialty awards that included Best Paint, Best Interior and Best Wheels.
