This month’s Gauge Girl is turning wrenches and turning heads! Say hello to Mia Tia, a 20-year-old mechanic with a passion for horsepower, head-turning ink, and 2000s R&B. Standing 5’7” and weighing in at 135 lbs, Mia is the perfect combo of brains, beauty, and pure car culture energy.
🔧 A Beauty in the Bay
When Mia’s not lighting up your Instagram feed at @sour.strawberry13, you’ll find her elbows deep in engine grease. She’s a full-time mechanic who isn’t afraid to get dirty under the hood—especially when it comes to her prized possession: her 1999 Mazda Miata.
“I love working with vehicles,” Mia says. “Whether I’m on the job or spending time wrenching on my Miata, I’m happiest when I’ve got a tool in hand.”
🎨 Inked, Pierced, and Packed with Personality
With 17 piercings and tattoos that span her legs, thighs, hip/stomach, and arm, Mia’s style is as bold as her ambition. She blends her love for cars and modeling with a passion for art, rollerskating, and soaking in the vibes at every car show she attends.
Her favorite? Slammedenuff in Sevierville, TN. “I love seeing everyone come out with their vehicles and their friends. It’s always such a good time,” she tells us.
🍔 The Essentials
-
Favorite Food: A good old-fashioned classic cheeseburger
-
Go-To Music: 2000s R&B – think smooth, soulful, and nostalgic
-
Worst Habit: “Forgetting things… constantly!”
But don’t let that fool you—Mia’s got her sights set on some serious long-term goals. Her plan? “Build my Miata and start my family.” And in 10 years? “Move to Tennessee, build a house and garage, get married, and have two kids.”
💘 Love, Life, and Mustangs
When it comes to romance, Mia keeps it real. “Confidence, stability, and gray hair—yep, that’s my type.” Her dream ride? The legendary 1967 Ford Mustang Eleanor, Shelby GT500.
As for what revs her engine? “Seeing something I really like.” But a disrespectful vibe? That’s an instant brake check.
Her idea of a perfect date? “Going to a race or draft event—something fast, fun, and full of excitement.”
💬 Final Words from Mia
Mia’s advice for anyone chasing their passion:
“Never give up on your dreams. Anything is possible if you work hard enough for it.”
We couldn’t agree more.
Gauge Magazine is proud to spotlight Mia Tia in this month’s issue—an inspiring, confident, and creative force in the automotive world. Whether she’s modeling, skating, or tuning her ride, she’s doing it all with style and a smile.
