Guide on Jeep Wrangler Insurance Cost

December 6, 2021 By Gauge Magazine

Jeep WranglerOwning a vehicle means you should own an insurance for it from the first moment you get it. The reason is quite simple and obvious; you are trying to protect you are and your car from any unwanted consequences. This is one of the main reasons why in this article, we are going to be diving deep into the Jeep Wrangler insurance cost and everything you need to know about it. First of all, you must be aware that owning such a vehicle is usually going to result in higher insurance rates compared to other vehicles of the same category.

Let us take a look at some of the number and details you need to know. So, your average Jeep Wrangler insurance cost is going to be around $1,560. This means that each month you are supposed to pay $130. At first, this does not look that bad at all. And in reality, it is not bad taking into consideration the current price of cars on the market. However, once you start comparing prices, you will soon say a difference between these vehicle and other vehicles in the same category. So, let us take a look at what is so different.

First and foremost, for vehicles in the same category expect to pay around $200 more for your custom Jeep insurance. At the end of the day, this does not look that big of a difference if you consider that you own such a great vehicle. If we want to compare this price to the average cost of all vehicles nationwide, you will see a slight difference. That difference is only $40, because the average cost of insurance for all vehicles is around $1,600. However, you must know that certain factors have an impact on the insurance cost, even for such a vehicle.

One of the biggest factors for getting a cheaper cost of your insurance is your age. Insurance companies consider young drivers as riskier compared to other age groups. So, driver aged in their 20s will usually have to pay double the amount compared to the others. It might seem controversial, but drivers in their 60s are more likely to get the lowest amount of cost, especially if they have a higher deductible. However, the age of the driver is not the only age that insurance companies take into consideration. There is another equally important factor you should consider.

The age your Jeep Wrangler is important too. Owning a newer model means you are going to have to pay higher amount of money. Let us take a look at some of the average monthly rates. Owning the 2021 Jeep Wrangler means you are going to get a monthly rate of $130. As we go down the years, the monthly rate is significantly different. For example, the monthly rate for your 2013 Jeep Wrangler is “only” $90, which is very different than the latest model. So, if you plan on buying a Wrangler, make sure to carefully read this guide and learn everything about the insurance rates.
