(View Digital Version)Happy New Year! January 2017 marks our 18th straight year of bringing you nonstop event coverage and amazing custom vehicle features from across the globe. For the January 2017 issue we have continued this amazing journey with the beautiful Gauge Girl Mireika Edwards posing on an amazing Chevy from the SEMA show. Make sure not to Miss her Gauge Girl Interview and get an up-close look at her in a few different outfits. For feature vehicles this month we Have Justin Adams and his Supercharged 2012 Camaro RS/SS. This Camaro is so mild looking but packing massive power and so cool we had to grab photos for our readers. The next feature this month is an immaculate 1969 VW convertible owned by Bruce Paul. This full restoration features so many clean modifications such as dual carbs, Msd ignition, etc.. Do not miss this one! To wrap up features this month we arch up with Jay Jancetic and his 2009 Nissan 370z. Jay’s inspiration on this build was to have the highest documented WHP 370’s in the country. Just one look at the work that was put into this Nissan and it is easy to see that this goal was a reality! Show coverage this month we jump all over the great USA. We start in Portland, OR with Ron McKinnis for the 60th Anniversary Portland Road Show on March 18-20, 2016. After looking though this show coverage it is easy to see that Portland has some of the most amazing custom builds in the county. Next show for the January 2017 Issue we travel with Chris Gosda to Milwaukee, WI for the Brewhaus Car Show on July 23, 2016. Held at the Brown Bottle – Schlitz Park and with a name like Brewhaus you know this day was all about custom cars and Beer! Designated Drives Recommended! For the next show in coverage we travel to Northern Ohio with Des Gower and Check out Dropt-N-Destroyed on the weekend of May 28-29, 2016. A few years ago they moved this show to the Ohio State Reformatory and it is an amazing location for an event. Super cool backdrop for the weekend and if you are up to it you can take a ghost tour all night! To wrap up show coverage for the New Year kick off issue we catch up with Editor Double D at the meca of all street rod show. The 19th annual PPG Good Guys Columbus car show. If you are a serious car enthusiasts this show is a must for your bucket list. Over 7000 custom cars and more vendors then you can visit in a weekend time. This coverage is just a small taste of the amazing collection of cars that attend. Do not miss it. That wraps up this issue and the start of 2017! (View Digital Version)The February 2017 issue of Gauge Magazine is jam packed with amazing car show coverage and custom cars and trucks. For features this month we start on the cover with Josh Kincaid’s 1929 Model A Tudor Rat Rod featuring the beautiful Sonja Blade. Josh’s rat build is one truly original build with custom laser cut control arms, crazy straight pipes and custom stamped door panels and seats. Do not miss this one! Next we catch up with Anthony Carri with another truck that he has built. The “Homewrecker” is a 2001 Chevy Silverado that is laying the body on the ground on air ride with some of the coolest attention to detail we have seen on a Chevy Truck. This is truly an amazing truck make sure to check out this feature. To wrap up features this month we catch up with Lance Everhart and his 2011 Chevy Camaro SS. Lance took his Camaro to Aaron Lynch at Lynch Concepts in Chillicothe Ohio looking for a way to make his Camaro stand out in the show scene. Full custom paint with flames, Ridler Wheels, Vertical Doors and a cowl induction hood later this beast rolled out of the shop. This is one bad ass Camaro make sure to check out the feature. For show coverage this month we are bringing you coverage from coast to coast. We start out on the west coast with Staff Photographer Chromey for the 19th annual Forbidden Fantasy Show in Laughlin, NV on April 2-3, 2016. Forbidden Fantasy has become a must attend event for everyone on the west coast. Just a quick look through the coverage and it is easy to see why this show is a 19 year success. Next we catch up with Ryan Hartley at the Indianapolis Mecum Auto Auction 2016. If you have never had the pleasure of attending one of these Auctions it is truly a great time and packed wall to wall with custom vehicles.. The cool part is they are all for sale and the owners are more than willing to talk to you about every modification, let you sit in them and get you excited to bid on their custom vehicle. Do not miss this coverage. Do you love Rat Rods and Traditional Rods as much as us? If so then this next event is for you. Staff photographer Todd Atkins traveled a few hours south to Louisville, Ky. for Beatersville. Over the years Beatersville has grown into one of the most anticipated event of the summer for the entire custom car community. With pin up girl contest, rockabilly bands and an atmosphere that is always family friendly. Make sure to scroll through all the great coverage for the 2016 Beatersville. To finish up car show coverage this month we travel to Chester, VA and catch up with staff photographer B-Bop at the Rebellion Car Show presented by Drop Em Wear on May 14, 2016. Rebellion is a super cool show and family friendly so no reason to leave the kids at home. For 2016 they had two 50/50 raffles. One for the charity and the other going to the Miltz family. They raised a ton of cash for both. One look through the Rebellion show coverage and it is easy to see they attract so many different types of vehicles, this shows that rebellion is all about what they can do for each other and not about being singled out for the type of build you have. Make sure to put this calendar on your schedule for 2017. For extra special feature this month we catch up with professional model photographer Nick Means with nicks body shop February 2017 featuring the beautiful Mercedes Dawn. Nick had the insight to bring Mercedes beauty with the crazy colors on Lance Everhart’s Camaro to pull off a photoshoot that you just want to look at over and over. On the cover this month we have one of the most Modified 1970 Porsche 911T’s we have ever seen Owned by Jeff Tater. John Wargo over at the custom shop took this thing to the next level and debuted it at SEMA 2016 in the Continental Tire booth. Posing on Jeff’s Porsche is our March 2017 Gauge Girl the beautiful Myndee Kimha, you do not want to miss either of these amazing features! Up next is Michael Amborn and his 1963 Chevy C-10 on smoothies and Whitewalls.. This this is bad to the bone, do not miss it. The next feature vehicle is Coty Milhorn’s 2005 Chevy Colorado that is bagged sporting 22” wheels and custom interior. If you love a Colorado this feature is for you. To wrap up features this month we have one bad ass audio build owned by Aaron Smith. His 2007 Cadillac Esclade ESV has 26” wheels and enough amplifiers, subs and batteries to host his own concert make sure to check out the wild install on this beast. Show coverage this month is all over the map! We start in Indianapolis at the Custom Car Revival 2016 that is full of traditional rods, next we travel out to Boring, OR to the Kickin it Old School show presented by Class act. This show has a heavy mini truck attendance but not limited to just that! Check out the coverage. Next we head to Sevierville, TN for the Sparks Show, Nothing but amazing rides at this event! Up Next is Crusing The OSO presented by Revolution all the way in Big Bear, CA.. This show looks like a great time being at the Lodge and in some of the most beautiful scenery around the so car area. To wrap this month up we end up back in Indiana for Midwest Camp N Drag. Ballistic did an amazing job this year with bringing back the car show element of the event and removing a bit of the party. Everyone did a great job being on their best behavior you better believe we will be back in 2017!

He Is Risen show comes up next with custom vehicles and bikes that were one of a kind, this show was sure to bring in something that you had never seen before, you\'ll want to check this out! Import Face Off was a hell of a show this year. With an amazing crowd of vehicles from around the United States and an amazing atmosphere from everyone that came, this is one show we will continue to attend. To wrap up our show coverages, we end with Eville Shindig. This show allows vehicles from 1968 and older to come and show off some old and new tricks. Starting first with features we start with the 1977 Pontiac Trans Am owned by Dennis and Nancy Sullivan, with a custom ride like this you\'ll want to see it! Next is a 1977 Pontiac Trans Am owned by Robina Caulder. This sick Trans Am is one for the books! Our last feature is a 2014 Cadillac CTS-V owned by Scottie Johnson. With this vehicle being a project ride for XS Power, don\'t miss seeing the hard work they put into this Caddy! Next we head on over to our coverage of Slamology. This year was a huge turnout with over 1500 vehicles coming around! Starting with the Cars of Slamology, we had many unique and out of this world cars come in, check it out and see which ride catches your eye! We also had some of the baddest trucks around come out to our show, competition between the cars and the trucks was a close call! Check it out for yourself and see who had the best ride this year. This year we added Semis to our lineup, ATSC Semis came from all over the United States just for you to check out. Our Music Festival is next, we had local bands come out and play some of the hottest hits making the crowd go wild. At Slamology our Audio contest was a huge hit this year. Vehicles from all around come to show off the amazing build to compete in who had the best and loudest audio, check out who won this year! Next we head over to our Bikini Contest where we had some of the finest ladies come out and show off what they got, this is one coverage you sure don\'t want to miss out on. Tattoo Contest comes up next, with people coming from all around the United States to show off some of the best (and worst) tattoos that they have, competing for one of the many awards that we have! Next we have the Limbo contest, where cars, trucks, and contraptions work to compete to see whose ride can go the lowest before hitting the limbo stick. Come and check out who won this year! Heading over to our other feature rides we have a bad ass 1960 Ford Starliner owned by Gerald Feigli. Then we head over to a 1998 Ford Ranger owned by Matt Dowd. Our feature rides this month are out of this world, you don\\\'t want to miss out on this! Next we cruise on over to our show coverage. Our first show we have is the Route 66 Car Show. This show is one that you have to attend if you are into some unique, older rides. Next we get to Getting It All Together show. People came around from all around the US to attend this lowrider show. Make sure to check out the coverage to see the famous flame throwing competition! Ducktail Run is next with bringing in the older rides that have been decked out with some of the newer things. This show is one that many people attend to see what people do to the older rides to make them completely unique. Lastly, we get to Volktoberfest. This show is made for the import vehicles, mostly volkswagen, that have been decked out and worked on to be the one ride that sticks out from the crowd. This show coverage is one of a kind but all of the coverages will make you feel like you are right there! We cruise back over to our Gauge Girl for August 2017, Morgan Joyce. Make sure to stop and check out the up close pictures and interview that we got with her! Next we will head on over to our feature vehicles. First we have Andrew Salyers 1992 Mazda B2200 which was posed with our September Gauge Girl. This decked out Mazda will be sure to catch your eye, check out the coverage and see why! Next on the feature vehicle list is a 1932 Ford Model A Tudor Sedan owned by Matt Hinkle. Matt has put so much hard work and detail into this ride we could not get enough of this green machine! Check it out and let us know what you think! Lastly, a 1992 Ford Ranger owned by Phil Fowler. This Ranger is lower than low and has some amazing quirks about it. Lets finish our cruise with the event coverage! First off we have Run to the Hills. This show always hold a toy drive and this year was the biggest so far. Don\'t miss out on this show coverage! Next we go to Mid America Trucking show. This show is the biggest trucking show in the US and we got the chance to go and check it out, see what truckers are doing to deck out their semis! Cavalcade of Customs is our next stop and we are totally digging this show. With the amount of rides that came out and celebrities, you\'ll be on this coverage for hours! Last but not least, we have the Import Face Off held in Joliet. This show had a midget wrestling event that the crowd could not get enough of and we know you won\'t either. The show had a special vehicle this year that was owned by a Vietnam War Veteran whose dream car was up for auction, wait till you see what the Corvette was sold for! When then cruise on over to the FINAL Carl Casper Show. Yes, you heard us right. The final show. It was jammed pack with celebrities, famous vehicles, and of course, a huge crowd for the hydraulic contest which we got live footage of just for you; don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t miss out! Lastly, for our event coverage, we stop at Euro District. This show is one that we will always return to; with a family friendly vibe and amazing European vehicles all around, why wouldn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t we?! Let\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s head on over to our beautiful Gauge Girl. This babe is SO fine and you don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t want to miss out on the hot Kenworth that she is posed up with. Make sure you check out her photo shoot and interview with Gauge! Next is our feature rides. Our first ride is our Kenworth which was posed with our Gauge Girl. A completely custom Kenworth and beautiful from the inside out, this is one that any of us would LOVE to own no doubt. Don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t miss out on that coverage! Next is a 1971 Chevy Blazer owned by Brian Arnold. This Blazer is so sick, it\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s got a beautiful color on it and is lower than low. We know you\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ll love seeing that photo shoot! We also have a 2010 Honda Accord that is decked out beyond belief! We are totally loving this ride and we know that you will too. This Impala has been decked out to the max and we are loving it! Lastly, we have Teddie Olivers 1933 Plymouth Coupe. This green machine is one you don\\\\\\\'t want to miss out on, it\\\\\\\'s awesome! Next we cruise on over to our Gauge Girl. First we have Indianapolis World of Wheels. This is one show we attend regularly and each year it seems to get better and better! (View Digital Version)SEMA, SEMA, SEMA!! This month we have an entire issue of show coverage of nothing but the SEMA 2017 show in Las Vegas, NV on October 31 to November 4, 2017. SEMA is an industry only event that draws over 60,000 buyers and sellers in the automotive aftermarket from around the globe. For the past 19 years we have had the pleasure of attending the event and offering the best SEMA coverage on the web. For coverage this year we broke the show up into several sections. We start on Monday Night October 30, 2017 for the Freaks of Nature 10th annual SEMA 2017 show kickoff party at Hogs and Heifers just off Freemont Street in downtown Las Vegas. This event is unique due to it is a car cruise in, pin stripe corral, and the Mini Truck Hall of Fame awards are presented during all the madness. It is honestly the only way for any hard core auto enthusiasts to start the week. Yearly we have the honor of presenting an amazing all billet award built by TR Manufacturing to the top vehicle of the car collection that attends. This year west coast photographer Chromey chose and presented the award to Rich James with his 1956 Karmann Ghia. SEMA 2017 coverage this month we have broken it down to several categories for your viewing pleasure!
