Slamology 2022 Limbo Contest was was held in Brownsburg, Indiana at Lucas Oil Raceway from June 10-12th, 2022. We have many events inside our show, but our biggest fan favorite is the Limbo Contest!
The Limbo Contest is separated into three categories: Car, Truck, and Contraption. Each year we give out three trophies for the lowest ride in each category. We have been very thankful to have this as a part of our show. Dave Mattingly has always made sure this is available to our attendees, one of the many reasons he took home the Ricky Burke award this year!
For a long time, we had a continue Slamology 2022 Limbo Contest “Champion”. Scott Agnew took home the Lowest Truck award for 5 years straight, but for the past three years we have had new winners as Agnew decided to make his 5th year of winning his last!
There is never a dull moment for this contest. Watching people release the air out of their tires to become the lowest and some deciding to go for lowest contraption by laying down on their mobilized scooters. You never know what to expect when it comes to the limbo!
This years winners include:
Lowest Car: Tim Shields – #657 – ‘89 Nissan 240
Lowest Truck: Brad Goodman – #55 – “67 Datsun. Brad Goodman took home the Slamology 20/21 Award with this Datsun for Best Engineered!
Lowest Contraption: Sarah Osborne – #977 – Monster Power Wheel
Congratulations to all winners! Another amazing part of the Slamology 2022 Limbo Contest is the awards. These awards are custom made and in our opinion, are some of the most fun awards we have seen around! Not only are those fun, but the contest itself is a good time for everyone.
Whether you participated or were on the sidelines watching, everyone was seen laughing or smiling as they competed in the friendly competition. Our plan for the Slamology 2022 Limbo Contest is to keep it around for years to come!
