The culmination of hard work and dedication deserves recognition, and Slamology 2023 Awards sponsored by Incriminator Audio did just that! Held at Lucas Oil Raceway in Brownsburg, Indiana, from June 9th to 11th, 2023, this event was a testament to the remarkable achievements within the car show world.
Each year, over 200 awards are presented for 1st to 3rd place in each division of the car show. Additionally, accolades are bestowed upon winners of IASCA, MECA, USACi, and Bass Wars. While all awards hold a special place in our hearts, there are a few that are particularly meaningful to us at Slamology.
The Ricky Burke Award is a distinction reserved for individuals who embody the qualities Ricky stood for: kindness, compassion, and a significant presence in the car show community. This year, there was no doubt about who deserved this esteemed award: Jeff Smith. Congratulations, Jeff, and may you continue to make a positive impact in the car show world.
Another highly anticipated Slamology 2023 Award is the Hats Off Award. This honor recognizes a dedicated Slamology staff member who has demonstrated unwavering commitment and love for our show. This year, the award rightfully went to Melinda Julius. Many of you may have encountered Melinda during registration, as she worked tirelessly to ensure your smooth registration process. She dedicated hours every Monday night to ensure all your information was properly recorded. Melinda’s relentless dedication and hard work did not go unnoticed, and we appreciate her more than words can express.
While every vehicle at Slamology 2023 Awards deserved recognition, our judges meticulously deliberated for hours to ensure that the recipients were truly deserving.
