The Annual Sundown Audio Show was held in Hickory, NC on August 20, 2022. Not letting the crowd down with its usual weekend filled with loud entertainment and a great time!
The event is held as an open event for people to bring out their rides and demo, compete, or just park and display the handwork you have put into your ride! Between the vendors and attendees, the entire Hickory, NC Racetrack is filled infield and all the way around!
Walking around the event you could find some OG builds, some brand new builds, some that were so new that it was just the box and as they purchased parts, they were adding them in! You had small hatches to full sized SUV’s to lifted trucks to even custom motorcycles with stereos just as loud as most people on the street.
Continuing through Sundown Audio Show, you had full walls, truck beds full and of course door panels full of speakers as well. If you’re searching for a relaxed event filled with demos and more, then this is the show you need to be at.
it isn’t only just the bassheads in attendance, but also spectators walking around getting demo’s, doing hair tricks, asking questions to builders while also getting ideas for their current or future builds.
As with every year, it was nice and toasty but that didn’t keep anyone away as the spectator lot was full. You had competition areas for the various organizations as soon as you walked in and went to your left, you had various vendors for subs/amps/wiring/batteries and even custom door panels. Some of these companies included Sundown Audio, XS Power, Down4Sound, Crossfire and many others.
