The Third Annual Southern Tradition Car and Truck Show was held on July 13-14 of 2020. Even with the Hot summer weather and pandemic, more than 250 custom rides showed up from several surrounding states including Mississippi, Florida and Tennessee.
The show grounds filled up fast with show vehicles and canopies to help keep the heat of the sun at bay. Everyone enjoyed being out and about and not trapped in the homes.
This year’s event was once again held at the Etowah River Park in Canton, GA. Besides a nice number of entries, the show had numerous vendors and sponsors on hand. Looking for an unforgettable bite to eat? Pig N Out BBQ was at the show and had some of the BEST BBQ around.
Cherokee Golf Carts was another great sponsor for the Third Annual Southern Tradition Car and Truck Show and was onsite with the ability to customize golf carts to your liking. A pinstriped Golf Cart is always an eye catcher!
Lay’n Licks Pinstriping was on site laying pinstrips on anyone’s ride that wanted it. They also pinstriped the Top 40 awards! If the BBQ wasn’t enough, there was plenty of food vendors on site including Bell’s Gator Shack selling gator kabobs. Arctic Ice was on hand with American or Strawberry Lemonade Italian Ice to help cool you down. Who doesn’t love Italic Ice on a hot summer day?!
On Sunday, Mother Nature had other plans intended for The Third Annual Southern Tradition Car and Truck Show. A major storm system was heading directly towards the show, awards were pushed to an earlier time so that way attendees could get some safely.
When it was all said and done Best of Show went to Darrel Poe Jr. with his S-10 better known as “Da Outlaw”. Congratulations Darrel Poe!
