Winter Volksfest 2021 was held in Raleigh, North Carolina on January 31st, 2021. The weather may have not been on this shows side, but that did not stop this event from filling the North Carolina Fairgrounds full of a variety of different Volkswagen, vendors, and even a swap meet!
If you are a huge Volkswagen fan, then this is exactly where you are wanting to be. You were able to see almost everything from Old School VW to the newer generations, air cooled and water cooled, Type 2’s, Beetles from all eras, Sand Rails, Ghias, and things. Some Volkswagens being fully restored while other were fully customized, bagged slammed to the ground, and others were still a work in progress.
It’s always a sight to see when you head to an event that is full of rides that you love and some you never thought that you would even see! Many were stopped at certain rides talking to the owners to see how they added certain parts to their rides and all together, just enjoying a conversation!
There were more than just custom Volkswagens at Winter Volksfest 2021, you were also able to head over to where the Vendors were located the show and find parts for your project rides, spare parts for your future parts, memorabilia, and even some sign for your garage. Trust me, you are on the wrong level if you are not looking at signs and thinking of were you can fit them in your garage.
Who doesn’t love a good old fashioned root beer? You could also head over to the MUG Rootbeer Beetle for some free cans of rootbeer while you enjoyed the show!
