volktoberfest 2016

Volkswagen enthusiasts from all over gathered at the Indianapolis Metropolitan Airport for the 15th annual Volktoberfest 2016, an event proudly presented by Tom Wood Volkswagen and Circle City Volkswagen. As one of the most anticipated VW events in the Midwest, Volktoberfest continues to attract car lovers, families, and Volkswagen fans alike for a full day of classic and custom VW displays, live entertainment, and a fantastic community atmosphere.

A Festival for Volkswagen Enthusiasts

Volktoberfest 2016 was more than just a car show—it was a true celebration of Volkswagen culture. Enthusiasts came out to showcase their air-cooled and water-cooled Volkswagens, ranging from vintage Beetles and Buses to modern-day GTIs and Jettas. The event offered a welcoming space for both seasoned VW collectors and first-time attendees, with a variety of cars on display that highlighted the history and evolution of Volkswagen automobiles.

One of the most exciting aspects of the event was the Show & Shine Competition, where Volkswagen owners proudly displayed their beautifully restored, customized, and modified rides. From lowered classic Beetles with custom paint jobs to high-performance Golf Rs sporting aftermarket upgrades, there was something for every kind of Volkswagen enthusiast to admire.

In addition to the car show, the event featured:
