The 2nd Annual 5 and Dime Charity Car Show is scheduled to take place Saturday October 4, 2014. Gauge Magazine is excited to be involved with this event again for 2014!
The amazing part of this show is that the entire automotive industry and local businesses come together for this show! We have received donations from all over the city and country. Our Chinese style auction has been very successful over the years.. Businesses and Individuals donate prizes and ticket buyers have the ability to put their tickets into the prizes they want to win. All monies raised will be donated to Comfort Wounded Warrior. In 2013 the show raised just over $3000.
Along with the Car and Truck 5&Dime is the Midwest Championship for IASCA sound off organization. By participating in the 5&Dime Championship as a participant it is the last chance to get enough points to qualify for Finals in Nashville, TN on the 18th of the October. There will be onsite Gambling all day as well with Pull Tab Tickets and 50/50 drawling. The American Legion will also offer a full bar and $2 beer specials along with hamburger and hot dog meal deals starting at $5 each.
