Team Akatsuki’s Spring Showcase was held in Hickory, North Carolina on November 11, 2020. If you couldn’t make it out the show, you have no idea what you missed out on!
The show started at 9 am with a beautiful sunny day with 70 degree weather, who could’ve planned on that for a mid November car show?! The amazing weather and location just made this event the best that it could be with COVID putting a damper on the original plans.
The event pulled in several cars for multiple groups and clubs from all over the area. You had apparel, product, and food vendors on site. More than what you could wish for when it comes time to get out doors and finally enjoy a car show after being tucked away for the year!
As you walked around Team Akatsuki‘s Spring Showcase you could see a variety of styles and types of vehicles. Cars, trucks, bikes. Anything from stock/original, to slightly modified to completely modified all the way to track set up. Hondas, Toyotas, Nissans, Lamborghini, Acuras, Subarus, Chevys, Fords, Volkswagens, BMWs, Mercedes; whatever you wanted to see, it was there.
The interior set ups on some were very luxury complete with glassware, cigars, alcohol bottles, leather seats with pillows the full VIP set up. Some were track inspired with race style seats, caged/harness bars, quick release steering wheels, drift style e-brake handles, and gauges. With this event, there wasn’t a single person leaving that hadn’t found something that they were in love with.
You could tell by the fans coming and going that they were beyond pleased that the event continued on for this years event!
You’ll want to stay tuned and make sure that you hear when this event is coming back, with everything it had to offer we know you regret not going!
