What was the inspiration?
We have a supercharged V6 300 that is quiet and unassuming so we wanted make this build aggressive, loud and something you donโ€™t see everyday. Complementary opposites, a yin to our yang. Inspired by the Phoenix and rebuilding a life for ourselves. IG @ph3n1x_srt8
How long did it take you to build?
A little over a year because of hiccups with COVID-19 delays.
How long have you been building?
Building/modding cars together for almost 5 years. Iโ€™m still learning a lot and enjoying every minute. Adam has been building and modding his cars for his entire life
Club Affiliations
S Model Mafia Miami Valley Mopar Club
Your future plans?
Still wanting to do engine bay dress up, firewall cover and some airbrushing under the hood. Interiors accents that complement the existing red seats and carbon fiber. I plan on building a custom display in the trunk to honor my late parents and Adamโ€™s late mother. We would also love to have Adamโ€™s father fabricate a custom radiator shroud to have something in the car to honor him as well.
Vehicle history
We purchased this vehicle from a private seller in New Mexico in June of 2019. At the time of purchase it was not a widebody and was silver, bagged and riding on red Avant-garde wheels.
Thanks to
@glarb_wrapped for working with us on designing our wrap. @xtremeautosports in Dayton Ohio for dealing with all of our crazy ideas. Thanks to the talents of Mike Fredenburg, now owner of Next Level Auto Lab in Beavercreek Ohio for his wrapping skills. So many more people to thank that inspire us endlessly.

“Phoenix”

2012 Chrysler 200 SRT8 owned by Jessica Bonham and Adam McFadden

The 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8 owned by Jessica Bonham and Adam McFadden is a one-of-a-kind build that is sure to turn heads. Known as “Phoenix,” this vehicle was inspired by the idea of rising from the ashes and rebuilding a life from nothing. In this article, we’ll take a closer look at the features of this unique ride and the story behind its creation.

The 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8 originally cost $28,000, but with over $30,000 in modifications, it is now a true showstopper. The couple’s inspiration for the build was to create a car that was aggressive, loud, and unique. After having a supercharged V6 300 that was quiet and unassuming, they wanted to create something complementary but opposite – a yin to their yang.

It took a little over a year to complete the build due to hiccups with COVID-19 delays, but the end result was well worth the wait. The car’s name, “Phoenix,” represents the idea of rising from the ashes and starting over after difficult times.

The engine in this car is a Hemi 2012 with 8 cylinders and a displacement of 6.4L/392. The engine mods include a Comp Cam 274, Corsa Performance catless long tube headers, a straight pipe exhaust, and a carbon fiber Legmaker air intake. The driveline details include a 3500 stall torque converter and 3.06 gears built by Texas Speed and Performance.

The chassis features dual Viair 450 compressors, an AccuAir Endo-VT 3-gallon 4-corner valve, and AccuAir E-Level with Universal bags. The wheels are Forgiato Dรฉcimo-L Candy Red with floating center caps, and the tires are 295/30ZR22 in the front and 335/25ZR22 in the rear. The car also has a LibertyWalk widebody fender flare and side splitter kit, Xtreme Autosports body mods, and a Trufiber deep dish carbon fiber grill.

The car’s paint job is a unique graphic print over a psychedelic flip wrap that features a phoenix with flames, embers, and ashes on each side. The wrap was done by Glarb Wrapped, and the body mods were done by Xtreme Autosports. The interior of the car features 20% tinted windows and rear windshield and 50% tinted front windshield. The seats are red leather with Alcantara inserts.

In addition to being a stunning car, Phoenix has a deeper meaning for Jessica and Adam. It represents their journey of rebuilding their lives from the ground up and rising from the ashes after difficult times. The couple plans to continue to build on the car, adding engine bay dress-up, interior accents, and a custom display in the trunk to honor their late parents and Adam’s late mother.

Overall, Phoenix is a unique and inspiring build that showcases the couple’s passion for cars and their resilience in the face of adversity. We can’t wait to see what they do next with this impressive ride
