Rides 4 Pets 2020 was held in Monroe, North Carolina on August 22nd. Everyone was ready to not only bring out their rides and have an amazing time, but their pets as well!
The weather created an amazing atmosphere for everyone! You could see a variety of your typical cars such as Civics, Challengers, Camaros, Mustangs, etc. But what you could see at Rides 4 Pets 2020 that you may not see at any normal car show was right hand Nissan Skylines, GT3 Porsches, C8 Corvettes, Audi R8’s, Custom Bikes, Lowriders, Mini trucks and much more!
The show was raising funds for the Caterings to Cats and Dogs organization. This organization is a feline and canine nurture center that cares for the wellbeing of homeless animals in need of food, shelter, medical care, and of course, LOVE!
In total, Rides 4 Pets 2020 raised $2996.00 for the organization. It always makes attending a car show so much more fun when you know that a portion of your proceeds are going towards an amazing organization!
Unfortunately, the fun did not last long. The show was shut down within a few hours to the North Carolina Governors orders that were in place due to COVID. It was a sad day for the people putting on the show as well as those that were in attendance.
Awards were given out in the following categories:
- Best of Show
- Best Domestic
- Best Import
- Best Classic
- Cleanest Engine Bay
- Most Creative
- Best Sports Bike
- Best Cruiser
- Crowd Favorite
- Top 25
Rides 4 Pets 2020 was full of great people, vendors on hand with various products, customized rides, and the best part, the 4 legged pals that were also attending! Despite the early shutdown, everyone that attended had an amazing time and we cannot wait to see what will happen for the show next year!
