BUTTONWILLOW, Calif. – Cody Miles added yet another victory to his already impressive season by claiming top honors at Buttonwillow Raceway during the RD3 GTA Pro Championship Global Time Attack Super Lap Battle 2016 on Saturday, November 12.
Miles completed a lap of 1:49.8 in his Air Lift Performance-equipped 2007 Subaru WRX STI, earning him an overall victory in the Street Class. The time is also a new Street AWD class record. This victory gives Miles a clean sweep of the season in the 2016 Global Time Attack Pro series.
His impressive season includes setting several track records in the Global Time Attack Street class, including Road Atlanta with a time of 1:31.262 and NOLA Motorsports Park with a time of 1:48.630.
“The Super Lap Battle is arguably the biggest Global Time Attack event of the year within the United States and simply participating has been an honor. I’m extremely happy with what my team and I have been able to accomplish and I can’t thank those who support us enough for all the success we’ve had this year,” said Miles.
