“Daily Hated”
Get ready to meet Josh Phelps, owner of the 2014 Honda Civic Si known as Daily Hated. This stunning car caught our attention with its unique Japanese-inspired theme and impeccable modifications. After sitting down with Josh, we learned about his passion for building cars and his love for Honda’s performance and reliability.
With a build cost of around $34,000, Josh has transformed this once-stock car into a showstopper. From the exterior to the interior, every detail has been meticulously crafted to reflect Josh’s vision. The Taffeta White paint job, complemented by Sakura tree vinyl graphics from Spinnywhoosh, gives this Honda Civic Si a sleek and aggressive appearance.
Under the hood, the Honda K24Z engine packs a punch with its 4-cylinder power and performance. Airlift performance 3P suspension, featuring front and rear Airlift shocks, adds to the car’s sporty handling and stance. And let’s not forget the impressive Work VSXX wheels, with a size of 18×10 +12 in the front and 18×8.5 +19 in the rear, wrapped in 215/35R18 and 215/40R18 tires respectively.
The interior of the car is just as impressive as the exterior, featuring a starlight headliner and trunk floor, self-built color-changing headlights, and Skar Audio amps and speakers. The NRG quick-release steering wheel and Acuity short shifter give the driver complete control over this beast.
As a member of the Ko$tlyobsessions car club, Josh is no stranger to building and modifying cars. In fact, he’s been doing it since 2019, and it’s clear that he has a talent for it. When we asked about his future plans for the car, he mentioned the possibility of a full wrap and interior upgrade, leaving us excited to see what he has in store for Daily Hated.
We couldn’t help but notice the importance of Josh’s wife Brittany in his car building journey. As he thanks her for her support, we can see how important she is to him and the role she plays in helping him bring his vision to life.
In the end, Daily Hated is more than just a car. It’s a reflection of Josh’s passion for building and his dedication to creating something truly unique. We can’t wait to see what he has in store for the future, and we’re excited to see this car on the streets and at car shows, turning heads and making a statement.
