What was the inspiration?
I knew I wanted a truck but not sure what kind. Being a novice car guy I had no idea what I wanted in the truck but I knew I wanted it fast, loud and to have the highest level of craftsmanship available. Fortunately for me I was in the right spot, Chris Felser and Chris Cowen walked me through each step of the build asking me lots of questions and giving plenty of options to choose from. At the end of the process I was the proud owner of one of the baddest 58 stepsides around!
How long did it take you to build?
8 Months
Your future plans?
Unfortunately my passion for these cars has become an obsession and because of lack of garage space I am looking to part ways with my truck and looking to start a new project. Hopefully someone will be able to appreciate and enjoy this truck as much as I did.
Vehicle history
Shortly after arriving at Fesler I noticed the 58 Chevy stepside sitting in the back of the shop and after a little proding I found out that it belonged to one of the employees. It had been his truck since high school and he was in the process of restoring it but had just been to busy to finish.
