Best 5 Hacks for Keeping Your Car Clean and Organized in College

December 27, 2023 By Gauge Magazine

Organized in CollegeBeing a college student, it is easy to get lost in time as you have to navigate and find your way through the myriad of different assignments, urgent deadlines, and other challenges of an independent life. Keeping your car always clean and in a good state can become an issue, especially if you tend to check it at the last minute before a lengthy trip or when something bad happens. Do not let it happen to you because it always comes down to keeping yourself Organized in College and your car organized by keeping up with the schedule and your motor vehicle service maintenance journal

  1. Keeping a Pack of Wipes.

Spills and crumbles are inevitable when you cannot help but eat something in your car as you get to college or even drink coffee. Now, getting your hands dirty is even worse when it comes to touching all the panels and the steering wheel. Therefore, keeping a pack of wet wipes is crucial for always keeping your car (and hands!) clean. When I receive a phone alert or feel stuck with an urgent task, I also use wipes to clean my phone first, as TrustMyPaper will do my homework for me and get me through this or that writing or editing challenge. Keeping things clean just happens automatically, as it is something natural you just work out!

  1. Keeping Glove Box Organized.

There is nothing worse than opening the glove box and finding a plethora of things that you do not even know were there in the first place. Just empty at last and check for what you may need there. Keeping documents in a file always helps. For all the rest, a small purse should do the trick!

  1. Cleaning Cup Holders On a Regular Basis.

The cup holders are the number one place for dirt and bacteria in the car, partially because they are not easy to clean. This is where window cleaner sprays help a lot. Alternatively, using an old sock over the bottom is an old trick that many college students will find funny yet helpful! Alternatively, silicon baking cups can be of help!

  1. What About a Car Bin?

A car bin is a must-have accessory for any vehicle owner. It helps keep your car clean and organized by providing a designated space for all kinds of trash, from food wrappers to used tissues. With a car bin, you can easily dispose of garbage on the go, without having to worry about finding a trash can or littering the environment. So, if you haven’t already, consider investing in a car bin to keep your vehicle neat and tidy.

  1. Air Vents Cleaning or Doing Things Yourself.

While getting your car cleaned and checked by professionals is always a better option, students living in Arizona or those locations where the wind and the dust combined are natural will feel my pain! Those air vents on your dashboards are especially tricky to clean. If you are planning to become an engineer, you already know a bit about car design struggles. Here is a great post to read to learn about what aspects you can master. Now, a good makeup brush can help you out with the air vents cleaning bit!

Avoiding The Clutter In Your Car

Keeping your car free of clutter is easier than you may think if you follow this simple trick: when you get back home, make it a rule to take at least one object away. As a student, you may have a bottle of water with you, which is better to leave in your car, yet other things like shopping bags, that old sweater, or books you no longer need belong to another category. It should be one of the habits that you have to consider! If you find it hard to fight the clutter problem in your car, think about removing the floor mats in your car more regularly and shaking them off to eliminate the dirt. This way, you can turn it into a routine and always notice what else you can do!
