Indy Pro Street Invasion 2023 was held in Danville, IN on September 8-10th, 2023. For enthusiasts of big tires, blowers, wild paint jobs, and loud open headers, the Pro Street Invasion is the ultimate gathering.
The event was the brainchild of Terry Scrivner from Indianapolis. Known for his deep involvement with the International Show Car Association (ISCA) show circuit, Terry was not only a seasoned competitor but also a respected judge.
His inspiration for the event came after attending a benefit for Jeff McCormick, a beloved figure in the Pro Street community. It was there that Terry envisioned the group as “The PRO Street Family,” igniting the spark that led to the creation of the Pro Street Invasion.
Determined to bring his vision to life, Terry assembled a select group of enthusiasts who shared his passion for Pro Street cars. The inaugural event was a resounding success, drawing around 160 big tire Pro Street cars from across the United States and Canada to the Hendricks County Fairgrounds in Danville, Indiana. The highlight of the event was Wendy Beard and her magnificent Cuda, which earned the prestigious Grand Champion trophy.
The festivities for Indy Pro street Invasion 2023 kicked off with a Thursday cruise to the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) in Speedway, followed by visits to DSR Racing and other local shops in Brownsburg. The excitement culminated in a three-day Pro Street Invasion at the fairgrounds, showcasing some of the most impressive Pro Street cars in the nation.
Building on the success of previous years, the upcoming Pro Street Invasion is scheduled for September 5-8, 2024, at the same venue. The event will start with the Race Shop cruise on Thursday, featuring visits to numerous shops in the area.
In addition to the main attractions, the 2024 event will introduce a Small Tire Pro Street area, catering to cars with 10.5 to 16-inch wide tires that meet Pro Street criteria. These cars will have their own designated area and awards, adding another layer of excitement to the event.
