Meaning Behind the Name
We have not really given this vehicle a name, but once we have designed and built a car, our stamp of approval is naming it an “Aaron Vaccar Signature Series” vehicle, therefore we call this vehicle the Aaron Vaccar SS Ford Fusion

What was the inspiration?
One of the branches of my ACV Motorsports Company is the Aaron Vaccar Signature Series, which is our custom & promotional vehicle design branch - in 2009 Ford awarded us this project vehicle, with a goal to create design and construct a modified version of the new Ford Fusion body style, relevant to the current styles of the industry and youth-young adult demographic, and debut it at the 2009 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, NV.
How long did it take you to build?
About 3 months
How long have you been building?
That is a tough question, and I say that because I was brought up with being around custom cars and racing since before I can remember. It was always a part of my life, and it was just natural for me to fall into the hobby. When I was 16 and could drive, I already was modifying the car I had. I will be turning 25 this year, and have never stopped playing. I am also proud to say that I have been running my own business, ACV Motorsports, that is the parnet to several branches that operate within the automotive industry for the past 4 years. Some of my newest ventures include hosting the AutoLife Tour, and running my clothing line Blood & Grease
Your future plans?
I have a couple secret builds up my sleeve, which we will debut at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. I can't say what they are just yet, but expect some new things! Follow me at online at AaronVaccar.com for the upcoming details!
Vehicle history
This vehicle is currently a featured vehicle being displayed all over the country on the AutoLife Tour (autolifetour.com). You can check it out at any of our tour stops, stop by to talk about the car, ask questions, or just say hi!
Thanks to
We have a lot of great partners and sponsors that we work with to build these vehicles, use some of the great products available, as well as develop new parts. Biggest thank you goes to AutoLife Tour, The Club, Promo Tour Marketing, Blood & Grease and Turbo XS - They are some of the core people that has made this possible! Also thank you to AGP Turbo, Air Lift, Autometer, AV Performance Seating, BASF, Canfield Collision & Custom, Continental Tires, Governor Insurance, Heart Support, Ksport, MB Quart, Nutek Wheels, Portage Trim, S&L Customs, & SCT.
Previous Rides
Way too many too list, but let me just say I’ve been all over the board in my past - I have jumped from custom hot rods and muscle cars, to sport compact and luxury vehicles. My favorite “past” vehicle however was probably a 1955 Chevy Nomad I drove in highschool, had about 400hp and was all original exceppt slammed on some custom wheels. In addition to the 2010 Ford Fusion, I also currently have some other custom vehicles, including; a 2004 Subaru STi, a 2005 Saab 9-2x, and a 1995 Nissan 240sx to name a few toys.

Graphics Description
We wanted to do something simple, yet different to draw attention for the SEMA show, and that is how we came up with the idea to do the partial 2-tone using the ‘brushed aluminum’ style effect on the silver part of the car, following factory lines. People always walk up to the car to touch and feel it, and are constantly asking about how we did it. Aside from the amazing blue color, this is a major highlight of the exterior paint work.

Upholstery Description
Since the car started out as a brand new, fully loaded Fusion from the factory, it came with a very unique black leather and custom patterned black perforated leather combination, accented with unique bright white stitching. We decided to play on this theme throughout the inside of the car. So, when we decided to go with a custom racing seat, we tore apart of the original seats for the material, and reapplied it to the new seats so that that had a OEM prototype style/look to them. We also carried the black leather/white stitching theme into the full trunk enclosure and other misc. areas of the car.
