What was the inspiration?
I always wanted a Street LEGAL Race car and this started out as an Old race car that was just a Shell and I mean a Rough Shell too. When I brought it to John Wargo at The Custom Shop. it was a Floor a Roof and a Roll bar thats all..
How long did it take you to build?
About 5 months it sat in my garage for a while I was dreaming of what to do with it. I call The Custom shop and talked to them and set up a Meeting to look at th shop and talk about it. Once I walked it there shop I knew these were the Guys for the Job. They had a Bunch of high end builds going and showed me around. Then when we sat and talked about the Porsche I felt good as John is a Porsche owner and Lover too. so I knew I was in good Hands. He had a Ton of great Ideas right away. so we booked the job for them to start asap.
How long have you been building?
This is my First build and it was a Great Experience wirking with The Custom Shop.Very Professional and easy to work with. They call or emailed if there was any ? about the car Lots of Commnication during the complete build. They really know how to do a Complete build start to finish and are always looking ahead for what need done next. but ive been into cars my entire life.
Your future plans?
Porsche 356 all wheel drive LS powered Beast!
Vehicle history
Shorlty after its was build by Porsche it was turned into a Factory race car and then after years of racing it was stripped and retired and was put tot he side. I bought it Hoping to some day make it a Dream car like it is.
