The Baddest Electric Cars and Hybrid Vehicles on the Road Today

July 14, 2022 By Gauge Magazine

Baddest Electric CarsHave you ever ridden in an electric car or hybrid vehicle? If not, you’re missing out! These vehicles are some of the most fun, efficient, and environmentally friendly cars on the road today. Here is a list of some of the baddest electric cars and hybrid vehicles on the market.

So what are you waiting for? Hop in and take a ride!

Ford Mustang Mach-E GT

One of the baddest Electric Cars tops this list of coolest cars has to include the Ford Mustang, and this list is no exception. The 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT has 480 hp and 634 lb-ft of torque. It gets you from 0-60 in 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 124 mph, which is about 40 mph less than the 2022 Ford Mustang GT Fastback.

Once you get on the road with the Mach-E GT, you won’t want to stop, so it’s good that this vehicle has an estimated 270-mile range. That should get you anywhere you want to go.

And let’s not forget about how it looks. The exterior is everything you’d expect from a Mustang, with its aerodynamic look. And you might be wondering where the door handles are. The car has an E-latch and will illuminate the entry button once it recognizes you. Touch the button, and the door opens. Walk away, and it locks.

The inside is just as stylish as the outside, with heated bucket front row seats, Bang & Olufson speakers, and plenty of storage in the front and back. The panoramic sunroof opens up your view to the outside and, with its special coating, will help keep your car cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

Baddest Electric Cars

DeLorean Alpha5

Are you ready to go back to the future? Don’t worry about finding fuel for your flux capacitor because the Alpha5 is all-electric. It goes from 0-60 in 2.99 seconds with a top speed of 155. It has an estimated range of 300 miles so that you can go far and fast. This stylish car keeps the features you associate with the DeLorean, including the side wing doors and sleek design.

We can’t tell you how it feels inside because it won’t be premiered until a car show such as the Concours d’Elegance, so keep tuned for an update.

Ferrari SF90 Stradale

You know that any car company with a Formula One team is going to have a high-performance hybrid. The SF90 Stradale is Ferrari’s first Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV). Integrating an internal combustion engine with three electric motors gives you unmatched performance in a hybrid. It blows away the other competition with almost 1,000 hp, going from 0-60 in 2.0 seconds with a top speed of 175.

The SF90 Stradale takes its design and looks to the next level, and the interior’s technology will have you feeling like you are ready to take the wheel at Monte Carlo.

If you have an extra half-million in the bank, consider giving this baby a go.

GMC Hummer EV SUV

If your motto is “go big or go home,” then you will want to experience GMC’s Hummer EV SUV. This eco-friendly SUV doesn’t give up performance for the sake of energy efficiency. It has a powerful 830 hp and 11,500 lb-ft torque and goes from 0-60 in about 3.5 seconds. Once you’ve stepped inside its roomy interior, settle in and get comfortable because the Hummer EV SUV has an estimated 300-mile range.

Seventeen camera views displayed on the high-def touchscreen keep you informed of everything going on all around your vehicle. And, with the Crabwalk and Extract Mode features, you can go almost everywhere you want to go.

Conclusion

So, what do you think of our list? We’ve compiled some of the coolest electric and hybrid vehicles on the market today. There are no “practical, grocery-getters” on this list. Instead, this is our electric car “wish list.”

We know these cars are all about looking good and high-performance, but you can also feel good about being eco-friendly. Furthermore, with a push to increase the number of charging stations across the United States, you can find places like EVgo wherever the road takes you.

Which one of these vehicles is on your wish list? Let us know in the comments section.
