Always had a dream of building a bagged truck since I started driving.

Its took me 5 years to build the truck to the point it is now AFTER it was hacked up.

Been interested in mini trucks since 2006 but just now had my first bagged truck and really got IN the scene.

Aftermath

Not sure on my next build. I can't see myself selling this one being that it has a lot of sentimental value. I would like to build something else eventually not really sure what though. I would really like a dually or a full size regular cab.

Truck was originally bought in 09 just to be a daily while I was a senior in high school. I knew off the bat I wanted to atleast lower it, if not bag it. So for the first couple years I owned it I did a 3/4 drop on some black Sport Muscle 20's and just some painted interior. Then finally went all in and decided I wanted to bag it. When I first went to get it done I took it to a "shop" that completely hacked the frame and bed to pieces so it all had to be redone over again. The only way to salvage the truck was to go for a full frame or a backhalf and since I'm not loaded and can't afford a full frame I opted for the backhalf. After that literally almost everything on the truck has been done atleast twice. Bed has been done 3 times. Interior has been done 2 times. Even when I got my billets I had to have the fronts re-bored to fit. So after everything the truck has been through, that's what pushed me to finish it because I knew if I didn't I would regret it. Honestly I look at it getting hacked up as a blessing in disguise because at first when I tried to get it bagged, I wouldn't say I was going to half ass it, but I would have went the cheap way around it, no billets, no swapped or narrowed rear end, and so on. So by the truck getting hacked up it gave me reason and motivation to really build it the way I really wanted to.

Last but not least I want to say a HUGE thank you to my fiance Nikki, she has been with me since day one of this build and encouraged me the whole way to keep going. She has never hesitated to get up early or leaving late to drive hours for a show. Even back when the truck was just lowered she was always willing to get up and ride 3-4 hours with me at 4-5 in the morning for a round trip for a show. When the truck got hacked up she kept telling me it was going to be ok and every problem I've had with it she always tells me its going to work out and it always has so I definitely want to give out a huge thank you to her! Would also like to say thanks to Gauge Magazine not only for the feature but I also bought most of my air ride parts from the gauge store. I got my bags, airline, valves, gauges, and all my fittings all from gauge!

Only previous ride I've had mini truck wise was my first truck. It was really the reason I got into minis. I had a 2001 S-10 Xtreme. Got it bone stock, didnt do a whole lot to it, but it was lowered another 4" in the back and had some 20" Mazzi Kruel wheels on it.

Seats were factory 60/40 tan seats. They were split into buckets, chopped down 7" and rewrapped.

Bedfloor has been raised and smoothed

Seats , headliner, and visors were all rewrapped in black alante vinyl, croc inserts and red stitching. everything else was dyed black. Also have billet window cranks.

Jonathan Chasteen at Kustom Stitch did all the upholstery. I did all of the dyeing.
