What was the inspiration?
My first car back in high school was an '85 Buick Regal that I had 13" wheels and hydraulics on. Lowriding has been my passion ever since. I have always been inspired to build a car that could perform in the streets, and still win best of show at any car show it went to. I feel like this car has the perfect combination of street... and show.
How long did it take you to build?
From the time I took it off the frame to the day I picked it up completely finished, was just over 5 years.
How long have you been building?
I have been into cars and lowriding since I was about 14 years old, and had my first custom build when I was about 17 years old. My dad was into cars too, so automotive customization has been a part of my life for most of my life.

Your future plans?
I'm pretty much happy with the car the way that it is, so I don't plan on doing any more major modifications to it anytime soon. If I do anything to it at all, I may upgrade the wheels, or possibly redo the trunk to make it look more show.
Vehicle history
I purchased the car from a friend for 900 dollars with the intention of just putting a simple paint job and a set of wheels on it and cruising while I built my '66 Impala that I had started a frame off restoration on. Once I discovered that the engine had to be replaced, I used the engine chrome that I bought for my Impala on the new motor that I dropped into the Buick. It snowballed from there, and I ended up selling the Impala to fund the Regal project.
