A.R.E. ACCESSORIES OUTFITS 2016 FORD F-150 PROJECT TRUCK WITH GOLD STANDARD UPGRADES

October 20, 2016 By Gauge Magazine

MASSILLON, Ohio – A.R.E. Accessories has created an exciting 2016 Ford F-150 project truck that will debut at the 2016 SEMA show in Las Vegas November 1-4, 2016.  A.R.E.’s Gold Standard vehicle brings together some of the best products in the industry all in one build. The highly customized vehicle is outfitted with gold standard exterior and interior upgrades that optimize performance and design with an attention-demanding gold tonal paint job.

Ford f-150 ARE Sema Truck 2016

Customized by Trent Van Arsdalen, owner of Trent’s Trick Upholstery, for truck cap specialist A.R.E. Accessories, the 2016 Gold Standard Ford F-150 project truck features A.R.E.’s latest product technologies, including its CX Series fiberglass truck cap with new window and door designs using cutting-edge urethane adhesion technology that eliminates window rings and screws for a clean, seamless look. A TopperEZLift 12V cap lift system is paired with the A.R.E. CX Series truck cap to provide easy push-button access for stored gear.

The Ford F-150 4×4 Supercab model is equipped with a standard 3.5L V6 engine and 6-speed automatic transmission that has been partnered with a Corsa Performance exhaust system and intake. To improve stance and function, a Skyjacker Suspension Lift Kit and an Air Lift Load Lifter load assist system have been added to the chassis.  Fuel MT Gripper tires are fitted to Fuel Forged 24” x 12” custom wheels to add high-style and performance.

An impressive selection of aftermarket upgrades have been added to the exterior of the A.R.E. Accessories Ford F-150 Gold Standard pickup, including NFab steps and bumpers, Bushwacker fender flares, BedRug bed liner, and a custom grille and TV with storage stand by Trent’s Trick Upholstery, among other additions.

Outfitted with the latest in style details, the cab interior is detailed with Trent’s Trick Upholstery custom interior accents and an Alea leather package that adds the ultimate in comfort and luxury. Kicker speakers complete the interior and take the sound system to the next level.

Bryan Mutchler, marketing manager, A.R.E. Accessories, stated, “We wanted to present an over-the-top Ford SEMA Show project vehicle build this year, especially since our previous Ford F-150 project truck, which is being displayed in our SEMA Show booth #30131, received both a Ford Project Excellence Award as well as a Mother’s Choice Award at the 2014 SEMA Show.  With this intent, we partnered with aftermarket companies offering products that radiate the gold standard to transform this Ford F-150 4×4 Supercab into a true head-turner.”
