What was the inspiration?
I wanted to build something from the fifties that was classic but also had a minitruckin' vibe.
How long did it take you to build?
It took me six years to build it.
How long have you been building?
I have been operating my shop Sparky's Hardcore Customs since 2010 but started building vehicles when I fifteen. From 2004-2010 I spent most of my time building a four wheel drive S-10 that lays frame, so this was a big change for me.

Your future plans?
To run up on something else special, whatever that may be, and build it to stand out!
Vehicle history
My wife's uncle had the car sitting beside a building. It was covered in leaves, had broken windows, flat tires and rust EVERYWHERE! As soon as I saw it I knew it could be something special with a lot of work.
Thanks to
Justin Fardo for the long weekends and all the far drives you made to help me, Adam Diedrich for many late evenings, Shane Rager for all of his help along the way, my wife Whitney for having to listen to me talk about the car for six years, my Mom for putting up with my habits since I was sixteen and my Dad for teaching me how to use determination and hard work to get the job done. He taught me how to not quit on a project just because it's tough and I think that really showed in this build. Finally to all of the customers that support the shop, because otherwise I wouldn't be able to do things like this.
