“Audiopipe Explorer”
The 2001 Ford Explorer owned by Jason Predieri is a true testament to the power of car audio. With a build cost of $28,000, this SUV is a sight to behold. The inspiration for this build came from old-school car audio, which emphasized both loud and clean sound. Predieri was determined to show that you don’t need to spend a fortune to get a high-end sound. He opted to use an underdog brand, Audiopipe, to prove his point. The installation of the sound system was done by an ambitious group of talented people in just seven days, including paint and bodywork. The result is version 5.0 of the Audiopipe Explorer, which has been evolving since 2010.
The engine of the 2001 Ford Explorer is a Ford V8 with a displacement of 302 cubic inches. The engine has been modified with ported and polished NGK plugs and wires, Accel coil packs, and an AC delete. The Explorer has also been outfitted with dual alternators, custom power distribution, and custom-painted beauty panels. The suspension has been modified to accommodate front and rear bag anchors, and rubber bump stops have been added to allow the vehicle to be driven even after complete air suspension failure.
The wheels of the 2001 Ford Explorer are Starr with a size of 22 inches. The front and rear tire size is NITTO 265/35 R22. The tank of the air suspension system is painted to match the truck. The body kit is an Extreme Dimensions kit that has been completely modded to fit the four-door Explorer. The rear bumper has an “Audiopipe” cut-out meshed with plexiglass and back-lit.
The interior of the 2001 Ford Explorer has been customized with grey leather with orange inserts. The upholstery description includes fiberglass kick panels, door panels, A-pillars, and roof interior speaker design, all upholstered and/or painted. The C-pillar wall of 18s baffle is also painted to match the truck’s paint. The head unit is an Audiopipe RAD1700BT 6 2 multimedia, and the video system includes a 4-inch video screen. The stereo was installed by Jason Predieri himself.
The 2001 Ford Explorer owned by Jason Predieri is a true masterpiece that showcases the power of car audio. With its underdog brand and a talented group of people working on it, the result is a sight to behold. The Explorer has come a long way since its first build in 2010 and continues to evolve. With its impressive modifications, the 2001 Ford Explorer is truly a one-of-a-kind SUV that’s worth exploring
