Stormtrooper: A Star Wars-Inspired Sound Machine Built to Break Records
When you mix a lifelong love for Star Wars, over 30 years of custom car building experience, and an obsession with outrageous audio systems—you get something out of this galaxy. Meet “Stormtrooper”, a 2006 Hummer H2 built by Brian Francois, and quite possibly the loudest Star Wars-themed vehicle on the planet.
This wild build has taken 13 years, three paint jobs, and more stereo system revisions than we can count—but the result is a jaw-dropping showpiece that turns heads, rattles eardrums, and pays tribute to both Brian’s passion and his military roots.
Why ‘Stormtrooper’?
The name isn’t just about the Star Wars paint job. Brian, a proud military veteran, chose the name to represent both his love for the galaxy far, far away and his support for the troops here at home. It’s a build with heart—and a ton of bass.
Built for Sound. Styled for the Stars.
Underneath the clean GM White paint, this H2 is a rolling audio powerhouse. Let’s break it down:
-
24 12-inch custom B2 Audio Rage XL subwoofers—each designed as custom Stormtroopers
-
12 8-inch mids + 6 super tweeters in each door (!)
-
4 12K amps for subs, 4 5Ks for mids/highs
-
Pioneer 80PRS head unit
-
8 mids + 4 tweets in the dash, plus 6.5s in the console
-
SCiB lithium bank (175Ah), 4 alternators, and more power than some outdoor festivals
Oh, and did we mention the 32-inch Forgiato wheels? Wrapped in 305/25/R32 tires, they’re big enough to make this beast float.
Custom Paint & Interior Fit for a Jedi
Brian didn’t hold back with the paint and interior on this 2006 Hummer H2. The Hummer sports custom Star Wars airbrushing, with Stormtroopers, enemy ships, and a galaxy-themed backdrop that turns it into rolling sci-fi art. Inside, you’ll find white leather and vinyl upholstery, a fully built console, and enough LED lighting to rival the Millennium Falcon.

What’s Next?
Brian’s not done yet. The plan? Hit a few more car shows, show up at some Comic Cons, and eventually get “Stormtrooper” certified by Guinness as the loudest Star Wars-themed vehicle in the world.
