1966 Cadillac Coupe DeVille

When you hear the name “Dadillac,” you might assume it’s a laid-back family cruiser. But for Justin Coffman, his 1966 Cadillac Coupe DeVille is more than just a ride—it’s a statement of style, luxury, and custom lowrider culture. Named by his kids, “Dadillac”perfectly balances family influence with classic pimped-out elegance.

The Inspiration Behind Dadillac

When asked about his motivation for building this ride, Justin keeps it simple: “Pimpin.” That one word captures the essence of this long, low, and luxurious DeVille. Cadillac has always been synonymous with prestige and smooth cruising, and Justin took that foundation to the next level with a fully bagged stance, wire wheels, and modern digital upgrades.

His love for custom rides is evident, with previous builds that include a 1980 bagged C10, a 1966 bagged Suburban, and a 2014 bagged GMC Sierra crew cab. The Cadillac, however, stands out as a timeless classic that demands attention wherever it goes.

A Trade Worth Making

Justin’s journey with the DeVille started with a trade in Tennessee, where he swapped his Suburban for this iconic ride. While the vehicle’s history remains somewhat unknown, Justin wasted no time making it his own, adding his signature style and upgrades to transform it into the ultimate cruiser.

Suspension & Stance

For a Cadillac, ride quality is everything, and Justin ensured that “Dadillac” floats on air. The Choppin’ Block front kit provides a solid foundation, complemented by 2-inch drop spindles and a full air suspension setup. Dominator airbags, controlled by a Vu4 Accuair valve system and powered by dual Viair 44 compressors, allow the massive Coupe DeVille to sit low and ride smooth at the push of a button.

Rolling in Style

The wheels complete the look, with 20-inch wire wheels wrapped in classic red-striped Vogue tires. This setup gives the Caddy an unmistakable old-school presence that blends perfectly with its deep gloss red paint.

Under the Hood

Powering “Dadillac” is a 383 stroker V8 with a mild cam, delivering plenty of torque to glide down the boulevard effortlessly. The engine bay features chrome accents that enhance the Cadillac’s classic appeal, and future plans include a color update under the hood to add even more custom flair.

Luxurious Interior Upgrades

Step inside, and you’ll find a clean and classic interior wrapped in white vinyl upholstery with red looped carpet for that vintage luxury feel. The billet Severed Ties steering wheel adds a custom touch, while Dakota Digital gauges bring modern precision to the classic dash layout. A Bluetooth head unit provides seamless connectivity, keeping the vibe just right while cruising.

Audio System for the Ultimate Ride

A smooth ride needs a smooth soundtrack, and Justin’s setup doesn’t disappoint. The system is powered by Kicker amplifiers pushing Kicker speakers, ensuring that every beat hits just as hard as the Caddy’s presence on the street.

What’s Next for Dadillac?

While “Dadillac” is already an eye-catching ride, Justin isn’t done yet. Future plans include a custom trunk setup and a fresh color update for the engine bay, ensuring that his Cadillac remains a standout build.

Club Affiliation: Severed Ties

As a proud member of Severed Ties, Justin’s build represents the club’s dedication to quality, style, and pushing the limits of customization. Whether parked at a show or rolling low on the streets, “Dadillac” is a reflection of his passion for the culture and the community.

Conclusion

Justin Coffman’s 1966 Cadillac Coupe DeVille is the perfect blend of old-school luxury and modern customization. With its slammed stance, wire wheels, and killer sound system, “Dadillac” turns heads while staying true to its name—a ride fit for a king, but made for a dad. And with more mods on the horizon, this Caddy’s story is far from over.
