The Detour Show 2025

September 3, 2025 By KZ

Pomona, California once again proved why SoCal is a hub for car culture when The Detour Show 2025 rolled through from January 31 to February 2, 2025. For three straight days, custom cars, art, music, and lifestyle came together in one massive celebration that felt more like a cultural festival than just another car show.

The Detour Show wasn’t just about polished builds parked in neat rows. It was about community, creativity, and crossover culture. Attendees saw lowriders gleaming under the lights, slammed trucks with wild paintwork, custom street builds, and even future-forward concept styles that blurred the line between art and machine.

What made it special was the balance—cars and trucks were the centerpiece, but art displays, live performances, fashion collabs, and lifestyle vendors gave the event its own unique identity.

The show went down in Pomona, SoCal, perfectly placed to pull in car enthusiasts from across Los Angeles, Orange County, and the Inland Empire. The venue mixed indoor halls—packed with detailed builds and vendor booths—with outdoor zones where cars cruised in and out.

Crowds rolled in each day from morning until late afternoon, and the energy stayed high all weekend. Whether you were talking shop with builders, catching a DJ set, or grabbing a bite from the food trucks, there was always something happening.

What Went Down at The Detour Show 2025

  • Show-Stopping Rides – From candy-painted lowriders to wild custom trucks, the variety was unreal. Each build seemed to outdo the last, making every aisle a photo opportunity.

  • Rolling Displays – The moving parades of cars added a whole new energy. Seeing these rides in motion showed off just how clean they sat and how smooth they rode.

  • Vendors & Brands – Builders, aftermarket shops, audio companies, and lifestyle brands set up booths where fans could check out the latest gear, swap stories, and make connections.

  • Art Meets Cars – Live mural painting, art booths, and collabs with clothing brands turned the event into something bigger than a car show.

  • Music & Entertainment – DJs and local performers kept things fresh, giving the show a festival-like atmosphere.

Like most big SoCal events, The Detour Show wrapped with awards for standout builds. Categories included Best of Show, People’s Choice, and class-specific highlights, giving recognition to the hard work behind these incredible rides. Winning at The Detour Show instantly added credibility and exposure for builders and shops alike.

When it was all said and done, The Detour Show 2025 delivered exactly what SoCal car culture fans wanted—a mix of insane builds, rolling displays, creative energy, and good vibes. It felt like more than a car show; it was a lifestyle event that captured the spirit of Southern California’s custom scene.

If you weren’t there, you definitely missed out—but something tells us this show is only going to get bigger in the years to come.
