What was the inspiration?
I grew up poor and always admired the amount of work and level or craftsmanship in lowriders. When I got the Monte Carlo it needed some panels repaired and a brighter yellow laid. It has quickly evolved to where it is now. For me, it is by the grace of God that I have had the opportunity to have a great job and the ability to spend money on a car that I am passionate about. I wanted to keep it classic looking with a good flare.
How long did it take you to build?
I have owned the car for 5 years now. I started on it immediately and have not stopped upgrading it.
How long have you been building?
I have been customizing cars since 2001 when I purchased my first vehicle. I started with installing lights, sound systems and them wrapping panels in the interior. Now I make custom radio consoles and complete trunks with panels and custom built speaker boxes.

Your future plans?
I am in progress of getting murals painted on some chrome inner fenders for the front. I also have some more chrome parts for under the hood exhaust headers & power steering pump and pulley) that should be installed before the end of the year. Next spring will be getting the AC working like a new car with a chrome compressor. Then maybe installing a 7" display radio with GPS and rear camera to add a little more technology to the old school.
Vehicle history
Car was restored sometime in the early '90s by the previous owner. I took ownership in 2012. It was a solid body and a nice starter car.
The interior was in good shape and only have had a couple upgrades to the inside like steering wheel, 6.5" speakers in the kick panels, painted pillars and rear deck lid. Upgraded Kicker sound system throughout the vehicle. I have changed the hydraulic setup 3 times since I started on it.
