What was the inspiration?
This car was built org for a Customer Named Calvin Samuelson as a Show car. He wanted a very custom high profile show car and asked us at The Custom Shop in Flanagan IL. what we would rec doing to the car. so we can up with some cool body mods and ideas for him and he told us he loved it so lets build it...
How long did it take you to build?
this car was a on again off again project as Calvin could afford to do the work. but about 3 years total.
How long have you been building?
I John Wargo the Owner of The Custom Shop in Flanagan IL. have been building cars since I was 15 years old. that would of been so about since 1985 lol . I opened up The Custom Shop in 1988 with a Dream to Build custom cars like this Big Time 1957 Chevy..
Your future plans?
Build Many more Bad ass cars until i can not do it any more and Hand the Shop off to my Kids Brandon Wargo and Brianna Wargo to run..
Vehicle history
the car was a typical midwest car not bad shape but needed lots of Love to fix it up.
Thanks to
Calvin Samuelson, Wayne Samuelson, Greg Samuelson, and Pat Samuelson for Trusting us to Build you a Cool Show car. Calvin and Wayne have Since Past away over the Year so it very cool to finally see this car being Featured in a magazine all these years later in there memory.
