1960 Cadillac Deville Sedan
The 1960 Cadillac Deville Sedan is a classic beauty that will leave car enthusiasts in awe. This particular Deville is owned by Rob and Shauna Tansey and is affectionately called the Crew Deville. The name was inspired by the fact that it’s a crew cab cruiser for them and their friends. The Crew Deville was originally acquired in a trade deal, and it took a lot of work to get it to its current condition.
The build was a step-by-step process over a 2-year period. The owner’s inspiration was to have a cool old Caddy that could be driven anywhere. The engine of the Deville is a 6.0 LQ9 2005 with 8 cylinders and a displacement of 364. It has aftermarket intake with 799 heads and a custom ground Powell camshaft. It also features an AccuAir E-Level management, dual 480 Viair compressors, and Slam Specialties airbags.
The exterior of the car features a stunning root beer candy color, reverse chrome wheels, and over-designed graphics that were painted by Tery Steele of Trey Steele’s Paint Shack. The interior is just as impressive, with custom snow leopard and glitter vinyl upholstery inspired by the iconic Cadillac style. The head unit is a Retro sound, and the gauges are Dakota Digital VHX.
The Crew Deville is a remarkable piece of machinery that has been brought back to life with dedication and hard work. Rob and Shauna Tansey should be proud of what they have accomplished with this classic ride, and they can look forward to driving it for many years to come.
