“VN Raptor”

2020 Hyundai Veloster owned by Dak Sego

The 2020 Hyundai Veloster N has taken the car community by storm with its unique and sporty design. The Veloster N is already a powerful car, but for Dak Sego, the owner of VNRaptor, it was only the beginning. Sego is a seasoned car enthusiast who has been modding cars for 27 years, and he was not going to let his Veloster N remain stock.

VNRaptor is a combination of Veloster N and Raptor, and it truly lives up to its name. The car has undergone extensive modifications that have taken it to the next level. Sego’s inspiration was the love he has for the car scene and community, and he wanted to be a part of it. He started working on the Veloster N in September 2022 and has been modifying it ever since.

The car has a Godspeed Lowering Spring that has lowered it 1.4 inches, giving it a more aggressive stance. The 19″ sky blue Enkei wheels with Vulcan rims have added to the car’s sporty design. Sego has added Aero Blitz ground effects all around the car and a customcargrills.com grill painted in red. The Veloster N also boasts Socal Garage Works M3 horn Carbon Fiber mirrors and carbon fiber door handles.

The engine has been modified to give it even more power. Sego has added a SXTH Cold Air Intake and a SXTH BOV, a Moshimoto oil catch can, and a Pierburg Solenoid. He has also added a sky blue Velossa Tech big mouth intake snorkel, custom painted engine pieces, and an Rpm flex pipe and Rpm resonator delete exhaust.

Sego is not done with his modifications. His future plans include adding Lambo doors, a carbon fiber hood, wing, and front fenders. He is also considering blue racing seats, custom graphics, and further modifications to the engine.

Inside, the car has a stock dashboard with carbon fiber overlays, a Socal Garage Works Carbon Fiber Steering Wheel, an Orion Cobalt amp, and 12″ Skar SDR speakers. A Samsung tablet A8 serves as the car’s video system, and the shifter is from Billetworks. The car has a 5% tint and underglow and LEDs in the grill with demon eyes.

Dak Sego’s VNRaptor is a testament to his dedication and love for cars. The modifications he has made have taken the 2020 Hyundai Veloster N to the next level, making it a unique and sporty ride that turns heads everywhere it goes.
