What was the inspiration?
My dad is John Wargo and saw so many of his Old custom paint jobs on the old truck from the 90's. I also Like Monster trucks but my dad wouldnt let me have one of them. so that way I wanted to build Stomper.
How long did it take you to build?
about two year to build but was really only about a year of actual work. the truck started out very rough shape. the dealer we found it at was going to junk it. they were getting $250 for Scrape price so we bought it for that. my Dad and I loaded it on a trailer and took it back to the Shop.
How long have you been building?
I have been helping my dad at his shop for 2.5 years. prepping, cleaning, upholstery, ect. what ever he asked me to help with.
Your future plans?
build a Hot pink truck with audio that will move my hair.
Vehicle history
I wanted a lifted 4 x 4 so my dad found this Nissan at the local dealership . they were going to junk it so we bought it for $250. they we starting dreaming up what we could do. I told my dad I wanted Old School, graphics, Lifted, big tires, wild Loud audio. so he said we have a Small budget but we will try. we ahve to Order up sheet metal to replace the rust. so we called GoodMark Ind. they sold us , Rockers, tail gate, fenders, roll pan, bed patch panels, Dad showed me how to weld and cut out the rust and I started cutting the patching. dad worked on fixing the exhaust leaks and broken headers,.once they was fixed it stated up and run great. I drove it around the first winter to make sure it all worked. Dad had me replace all the fluids in everything and replace the brakes too. I worked very had replace all the bed metal. the bed was so bad dad found a new bed for it. that helps alot. once I had that done Dad showed me how to prep and do body work. it was so much sanding the grinding. but after about 3 months i finally had it ready to primer. dad had me use POR15 to cover all rust and help kill it. them used POR15 bed liner to cover the bottom and inside of bed. after everything was Primered with USChemical primer, i had to sand and sand and sand OMG it was so much sanding ... but after that i had to fix a few spots cause dads is so pickie.. but it was finally ready for paint. I wanted to something wild and load so dad let me pick threw all the paint he had at the shop. I found the sublime green I loved so that was the starting point. he had me mask of the green i wanted to keep and then start telling me how to lay the graphics. it was overwhelming at first. but he explained just do one color at a time. so i put down one color and mask then another and another and another LOL till finally we got to unmask it and it looked so amazing. I had to have my dad do the shadows and highlights on the graphics cause he better then me and i was not quite ready for that part yet. then we clear coated it. and Yes I did clear coat some of it too. after the clear he showed me more sanding yeah... so I had to sand it all down again and they he showed me how to use a Buffer and polish it all out.. it took so so so long but finally it was ready to unmask and put back together. my dad and i put it all back together on the weekend. then it was on to the Interior and Sony Audio system. we built a cool subbox with 4- 12" Sony ES subs and running the New Sony ES Amps. added speakers in the door and added cool door pods and a Sony touch screen headunit. I wanted fur so he helped me do a Blue Fur headliner and Pink fur Seat covers I love it so much..

STOMPER

Introducing Stomper, a 1995 Nissan Pick Up King Cab that perfectly embodies the spirit of old-school automotive charm. With its unique name, this custom creation holds a special meaning. The inspiration behind the name came from the truck’s rugged appearance, reminiscent of an old stomper. This Nissan model, originally purchased for a mere $250, has undergone an incredible transformation that showcases the creativity and craftsmanship of its owner.

1995 Nissan King Cab

The mastermind behind Stomper is none other than Bri Wargo, who inherited her passion for custom paint jobs from her father, John Wargo. Although Bri had dreams of owning a monster truck, her father steered her towards the idea of building Stomper instead. With a limited budget, Bri and her father embarked on an extraordinary journey, spending approximately two years to bring this vision to life.

The extensive build process involved numerous tasks, from replacing rusted sheet metal with components sourced from GoodMark Ind. to fixing exhaust leaks and broken headers. Working diligently alongside her father, Bri developed skills in welding, cutting, prepping, cleaning, and upholstery. Together, they tackled the challenge of reviving the neglected truck, investing countless hours into turning it into a unique masterpiece.

The restoration journey started with extensive rust repair and bodywork, followed by the application of POR15 to combat further corrosion. Bri diligently sanded, primed, and masked the truck, gradually building up layers of vibrant colors to achieve the captivating graphics. With her father’s guidance, Bri skillfully applied shadows and highlights, creating a visually stunning design that would leave onlookers in awe. After several rounds of sanding, polishing, and clear coating, Stomper emerged as a head-turning beauty.

But Stomper’s allure doesn’t stop at its eye-catching exterior. Bri and her father invested their skills and expertise into crafting an impressive audio system. The interior features a custom subbox housing four 12″ Sony ES subs, powered by cutting-edge Sony ES amps. To match the vibrant exterior, the seats are adorned with pink fur covers, and the headliner boasts a stylish blue fur finish. With Sony components and a Sony touch screen head unit, the audio system ensures an immersive experience inside Stomper.

Bri would like to express her gratitude to her parents, Sony Audio, Odyssey Battery, The Custom Shop, and her grandparents for their unwavering support throughout this project. Their encouragement and assistance played a crucial role in making Stomper a reality. Additionally, she extends her appreciation to Slamology for hosting the event that motivated her to complete the build and showcase her hard work.

Stomper’s remarkable journey is a testament to the passion, dedication, and craftsmanship poured into the project by Bri and her father. This Nissan Pick Up King Cab stands as a shining example of what can be achieved with determination, creativity, and a modest budget. As Bri continues to pursue her automotive dreams, she looks forward to future endeavors, including building a hot pink truck with a hair-moving audio system.

Whether you appreciate the meticulous paintwork, the attention to detail in the interior, or the story of a young enthusiast realizing her automotive vision, Stomper is a testament to the boundless possibilities that lie within the realm of custom automotive transformations.
