I was going though cancer for 5 years and I had a c10 and when make a wish for in touch with me the asked me what I wanted my wish to be. I said I want my truck restored. I didn’t want to go to Disneyland, or some where where it’s just a day to remember, I wanted my truck to be restored so I can have it forever.

“C10Wish”

1972 Chevy C10

When you meet Cody Garling, you’re greeted with a warm smile and a story that’s as remarkable as it is inspiring. Cody’s journey with his C-10 began on a road marked by challenges, but it was his determination that paved the way for a story worth sharing.

Its a questions that many ask when a vehicle is nicknamed; “Why?”  Cody explains, “Because it’s a C10, and it was my Make-A-Wish dream come true.” Cody’s C-10 is not just a vehicle; it’s a symbol of hope.

During a five-year battle with cancer, Cody’s passion for his C-10 kept his spirit alive. When the Make-A-Wish Foundation reached out to him, they asked the most crucial question: “What is your wish?” Without hesitation, Cody answered, “I want my truck restored.” He didn’t want a short experience, he wanted something that he could keep and cherish forever.  This C10s history all together is beyond unique.

The C-10 is a testament to Chevrolet’s legacy, and Cody’s 1967 model is no exception. Originally purchased for $4,000.  The vehicle may have been weathered throughout time then, but Make-A-Wish did not let Cody down when they restored the vehicle. It may have taken 4 years, but every detail was carefully considered to honor Cody’s wish and to bring this classic beauty back to life.

But Cody’s plan for the vehicle does not stop there. Cody’s plans for C10WISH include adding a turbocharger; enhancing its performance while preserving its classic charm!

Restoring a classic beauty like C10WISH wouldn’t have been possible without the generous support of sponsors who believed in Cody’s dream. A heartfelt thank you to:
