What was the inspiration?
I built myself a custom Honda Shadow a few years and sold it. I've regretted it every day since then. So, I found another Shadow on marketplace and started to build another one. I started out with the intention of building the same bike until I talked myself into building something different while going through a bottle of Jameson with a buddy of mine. Since the idea for most of the bike was conceived while drinking Jameson, I came up with the idea of taking to fire extinguisher holders and making them Jameson holders. Of course, I had to light them up so everyone can see what I'm carrying at night. I don't know why but I'm getting more and more party invites after building this bike. Weird.

Found it on marketplace in a small Indiana town. The guy needed money to pay on his Harley and I needed another project and a birthday gift to myself.

“Day Drinker”

2006 Honda Shadow

The 2006 Honda Shadow 750 is a stunning motorcycle that has been customized by owner Jason Showtime. The bike, named “Day Drinker,” is inspired by Jason’s love of day drinking and has a unique feature that sets it apart from other custom motorcycles – Jameson bottle holders that light up at night.

Jason, an avid builder with over 30 years of experience, originally built a custom Honda Shadow a few years ago and sold it. Since then, he has regretted the decision and has been on the lookout for another Shadow to build. He found this 2006 Honda Shadow on marketplace and set out to create something different from his previous build.

The bike has been lowered 4 inches with the front forks lowered by 2 inches and the rear shocks replaced with rigid lowering struts. The engine has been modified with carbs jetted to accept straight pipe exhaust, and the bike now features a slash-cut straight pipe exhaust from Motor PsychoL J’s.

The bike has been painted matte black with Eastwood 2k Aero-Spray paint and features graphics done by a local artist, Jerry Chingas. The body mods include a custom handmade rear fender, Bitwell handlebars, bullet-style headlight, and painted upper and lower forks.

Jason is a member of the club Disturbin the Peace and plans to ride the bike as much as possible while avoiding any potential accidents. He is grateful to Dre and Hugo for their encouragement in all of his crazy ideas.

Overall, the 2006 Honda Shadow 750 “Day Drinker” is a one-of-a-kind custom motorcycle that reflects Jason’s personality and love for day drinking. With its unique Jameson bottle holders and custom modifications, this bike is sure to turn heads wherever it goes.
