Meaning Behind the Name

I named her Ruby, cause the definition is a precious stone and ruby's are red. And to me she is a very precious stone and my favorite color is red.

What was the inspiration?

My inspiring came from the love of working on cars with my dad at a younger age. I fell in love with Hondas and once i found Ruby, i instantly fell in love and knew i had to make her special.

How long did it take you to build?

I have been building Ruby for approximately 3 years. And am yet to be finished. I have some future plans for her. Turbo coming very soon, possible paint job and some other spicy goodies also. Stay tuned to see where we go from here.

How long have you been building?

I have been building cars for approximately 15 years. This is my 5th build but Ruby is by far my favorite and extensive build.

“RUBY”

Jody Wilson’s 2015 Honda Civic Si, named Ruby, is a true work of art. The inspiration for the build came from Wilson’s love of cars, which he shared with his dad from a young age. With years of experience under his belt and the desire to make Ruby something special, Wilson has been working on the car for about three years and isn’t done yet.

The engine modifications include a K24 2015, custom valve cover, Skunk2 intake manifold, and a full Skunk2 Megapower exhaust. The chassis has been lowered with Airlift management suspension, and the wheels are Wci 18×9.5 in the front and 18×10 in the rear, wrapped in 225/35/18 tires.

The body of Ruby features custom Precision Workz headlights with demon eyes and Si etched in the lens, HFP body kit, Seibon CF hood and fenders, Mugen CF door lock guards, and Lambo doors. The interior includes a custom CF/Houndstooth steering wheel, Braum racing seats with red leather, and a 13-inch Tesla tablet head unit.

Wilson plans to add a big turbo, a custom paint job, and carbon fiber front bumper, custom taillights, and some other goodies in the future. The car is a member of Team Dilated, and Wilson gives credit to his best friend, Thomas Hibell, his girlfriend, Crystal Rogers, his dad, Erskin Wilson, and H20creations, his true sponsor.
