2019 RAM 3500

In the world of custom trucks, Jon Rabes’ 2019 RAM 3500 stands out as a prime example of craftsmanship and innovation. Completed by Sky High Car Audio, this truck has been transformed from a standard model into a stunning showcase of automotive engineering and design, becoming a highlight at shows like SEMA.

The journey of transforming the 2019 RAM 3500 into a custom marvel took approximately nine months, a testament to the dedication and expertise of the building team led by Jeff Bardos. With 15 years of experience in vehicle customization, the team at Sky High Car Audio pushed the boundaries of what’s possible, creating a truck that’s as much a work of art as it is a powerhouse on wheels.

Starting as a stock 2019 RAM Limited, the vehicle has undergone extensive modifications that blend aesthetics with performance. The engine, a 6.7-liter Cummins, has been fully updated with deletions and aesthetic enhancements such as a billet valve cover, pie-cut coolant lines, and a high-volume fuel pump, all contributing to its formidable power. The truck’s chassis and frame have been meticulously modified and coated in prismatic illusion lite blue, with every bolt receiving a cerakote finish for a stunning visual effect.

The truck boasts a 16-inch adjustable front and rear lift, supported by custom-built FOA shocks that provide unparalleled ride quality and performance. The Firestone Ultimate Air Ride system ensures a smooth ride, while the massive 28-inch ruthless forged wheels, wrapped in 44×16.5 tires, make a bold statement on the road.

One of the most striking features of Jon Rabes’ RAM 3500 is the full front-end swap to a TRX, which includes an OEM RAM TRX hood integrated into the factory HD RAM setup, making it a unique feature in the custom truck community. The bodywork, expertly handled by Streamline, includes ADD front and rear bumpers and a custom Shca grille that further distinguishes this vehicle.

Inside, the RAM 3500 features a high-end audio system by Sky High Car Audio, including SoundQubed interiors and a Trinity stunt wall. This setup ensures that the sound quality matches the truck’s outward aggression and style. The interior remains largely stock in upholstery, maintaining a balance between custom flair and original comfort.

Thanks to the contributions of many, including Bobby Gately and the team at Gately Audio for the one-off parts, and the teams at Sky High, SoundQubed, and Trinity for the stereo expertise, Jon Rabes’ truck represents the pinnacle of custom truck builds. With no future plans for further modifications, this truck stands as a complete project, a perfect representation of the builder’s vision and skill.

Jon Rabes’ 2019 RAM 3500 is not just a vehicle; it’s a benchmark in the custom truck industry, reflecting a relentless pursuit of perfection by Sky High Car Audio. It showcases the incredible potential of custom automotive projects and continues to inspire both enthusiasts and fellow builders to push the limits of creativity and engineering.
