Gauge Magazine January 2026 Issue

January 4, 2026 By KZ

This issue is packed with everything that makes car culture what it is—bold builds, unforgettable events, and the personalities that bring it all together. From wild custom rides to high-energy event coverage and lifestyle features, this lineup captures the full spectrum of the automotive scene.

Here’s a closer look at what’s inside.

Feature Builds

“AS IF” — 2021 Jeep Wrangler

Owner: Cali Keit

Nicknamed AS IF, this 2021 Jeep Wrangler brings personality front and center. Blending modern Jeep capability with show-ready presence, this build proves that Wranglers can be just as much about attitude as they are about off-road performance. Clean execution and a confident theme make this Jeep stand out wherever it rolls.

“Ice_Edge” — 2023 Toyota Camry

Owner: Carmelo Padin

What started as a daily commuter quickly turned into a full-blown light and sound show. Ice_Edge blends tuner style with VIP influence and an over-the-top audio setup designed to entertain a crowd. This Camry proves that modern sedans still have a serious place in the show car world when creativity leads the build.

“Potent Rodent” — 1971 Chevrolet Vega

Owner: Rick Kiel

Small car. Massive attitude. Potent Rodent is a blown big-block Vega built with old-school street-race inspiration and decades of experience behind it. From the Rat Motor powerplant to the wild paint and stance, this build is unapologetically aggressive and impossible to ignore.

Event Coverage

14th Annual AZ Rockabilly Bash

Lake Pleasant, AZ — March 21–22, 2025

Vintage rides, rockabilly vibes, and classic car culture came together once again at the AZ Rockabilly Bash. From traditional hot rods to pinup style and live music, this event delivered timeless energy and a laid-back atmosphere that keeps enthusiasts coming back year after year.

Mecum Auctions — Indianapolis

Indianapolis, IN — May 9–17, 202

The Indy Mecum Auto Auction once again turned Indianapolis into the epicenter of collector car culture. With high-dollar classics, rare muscle cars, and nonstop action at the auction block, Mecum delivered one of the most exciting automotive spectacles of the year.

KICKER Presents: The Showdown

Laughlin, NV — March 1–2, 2025

Bass was king in Laughlin as The Showdown by KICKER brought elite audio builds and serious SPL competition to the desert. From extreme installs to crowd-stopping bass runs, this event proved that car audio culture is alive, loud, and evolving.

Extra Feature: Gauge Girl Spotlight

Gauge Girl — Hailee

Rounding out the issue is Gauge Girl Hailee, bringing confidence, personality, and modern car culture energy to the spotlight. As a content creator and model, she represents the lifestyle side of the scene—where cars, creativity, and individuality collide.

This issue delivers a little bit of everything—custom builds with personality, events packed with energy, and features that reflect the people behind the culture. Whether you’re into lifted Jeeps, audio-heavy sedans, blown street machines, or major automotive events, this lineup showcases exactly why car culture continues to thrive.

From the show floor to the auction block, this is what the scene looks like right now—and it’s only getting better.
