Southern California once again proved why it remains one of the biggest hotbeds for custom truck culture as the Grand National Truck Show 2025 rolled into the Fairplex in Pomona, California, on September 26-27. Truck enthusiasts from across the country gathered for two days packed with lifted trucks, slammed sport trucks, classic pickups, custom SUVs, vans, and some of the most impressive truck builds currently hitting the show circuit. The event is quickly becoming one of the premier truck-only shows in the country and continues to grow each year.
Hosted by Rod Shows at the historic Pomona Fairplex, the Grand National Truck Show brings together every style of truck imaginable. Whether you’re into perfectly restored classics, patina-covered survivors, lifted off-road monsters, or ultra-clean custom mini trucks sitting frame on the ground, there was something for everyone walking through the show grounds.
One of the coolest aspects of the event is the combination of indoor and outdoor displays. Inside the buildings, spectators were treated to some of the finest show-quality trucks in the nation competing for awards and industry recognition. Outside, the Grand National Truck-In created an atmosphere that felt more like a giant truck family reunion, with clubs, builders, and enthusiasts hanging out alongside their rides throughout the weekend.
The variety of vehicles on display was incredible. Full-size GM trucks, classic C10s, OBS Fords, lifted diesels, custom Toyotas, square bodies, mini trucks, custom vans, and modern performance pickups all filled the Fairplex grounds. Every corner offered another build showcasing unique fabrication, custom paint, air suspension setups, detailed interiors, and engine bays that looked almost too clean to drive.
The vendor area was another major attraction, featuring manufacturers and aftermarket companies displaying the latest products for truck enthusiasts. Suspension components, wheels, tires, performance upgrades, accessories, interior products, and lifestyle merchandise were all available, giving attendees plenty of opportunities to discover new parts for their own projects.
Throughout the weekend, industry magazines, sponsors, and event partners handed out special awards, recognizing some of the most creative and innovative builds at the show. For many builders, earning recognition at the Grand National Truck Show is becoming a major accomplishment due to the increasing level of competition and quality of vehicles on display. The event also featured the prestigious **World’s Most Beautiful Truck** competition, showcasing elite-level craftsmanship from some of the best builders in the country.
Beyond the trucks themselves, the atmosphere is what continues to make this event special. Families, builders, photographers, and automotive enthusiasts all came together to celebrate truck culture in a laid-back Southern California setting. From the moment the gates opened each morning until the awards were handed out, the grounds stayed packed with people checking out builds, meeting owners, and sharing stories about their own projects.
As the Grand National Truck Show continues to grow, it’s quickly establishing itself as a must-attend destination for truck enthusiasts nationwide. With hundreds of custom trucks, top-tier builders, industry vendors, and one of the most iconic venues in automotive culture, Pomona delivered another unforgettable weekend for the truck community.
If 2025 was any indication of what’s ahead, the future of the Grand National Truck Show looks brighter than ever.
